I have sensitive skin and use tretinoin cream so my skin has a bad reaction to a lot of products that don't interact well with tretinoin. This cleanser doesn't cause any reaction but it still makes my skin feel clean when I use it. It also has a nice, light scent. It is thick and lathers nicely so you don't need much at one time. I highly recommend.

I love it because it doesn't strip my face of its natural oils although it contains Salicylic Acid. I can clearly see that the Soy Extract component of this formula has been helpful in improving the skin overall texture. I appreciate that it's gentle and at leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, not to mention the fact that it's made sulfate free that's just another plus. I tend to prefer foaming cleansers over creamy versions as they do perform better at giving me an overall clean feeling and leaving the skin without residue. This Aveeno cleanser is no exception and worked well for my acne-prone combination skin. It has a lightweight foam texture that is not too thick or dense, however only a pump or two of product is needed to cleanse the entire face. It has a light herbal scent that quickly dissipates and isn't at all overwhelming. I sometimes shy away from products with salicylic acid as I worry it might actually aggravate my skin, but this cleanser contains a very minimal amount and has been very effective with cleansing my skin gently and without any irritation. Definitely a nice choice for anyone with acne-prone skin looking for a cleanser to help keep the breakouts at bay.
