Used it all last winter and it will be hung back up when there is less for birds. Easy to fill and easy for the birds to get at the suet...looks neat. Woodpeckers really enjoy it
Looks great, the shiny roof not only protects the suet from the weather, but it is shiny and attracts birds.
I have the feeder hanging in a tree next to the trunk, and the covered suet feeder works fine for woodpeckers and those that only run up and down the tree trunks, but the shiny, slippery roof discourages a greater number of birds who would land on it and peck, so it does work okay for some birds but not for others
