When Walmart offered to send me a can of Batiste Floral & Flirty Blush Dry Shampoo in exchange for an unbiased review of the product, I jumped at the chance. As you can see from my picture, I'm already a very experienced user of this product and will stock up whenever I find a sale. I've tried at least half a dozen brands of dry shampoo and once I tried this brand I've stuck with it. And now that Walmart carries it at a great price I don't have to wait for a sale at a pricier beauty store. This dry shampoo is great for extending your hairstyle a second day, and adding volume and fullness. I flat iron my hair and it is a lot of work so I will spritz this product at the root level of my hair before bed, and not brush it out, and it will absorb moisture and greasiness, and my hair will still be straight the next day. It's great for adding body to your style, doesn't show on my medium blonde hair and doesn't build up or feel sticky. Works by just shaking well, and spraying at the roots and brushing through your hair. I've found it very useful for those days that my child oversleeps and needs to be ready for the school bus when it arrives. I even keep a small can in my purse for refreshing my style later in the day or traveling overnight. This is the best dry shampoo at ANY price point. The can art is very pretty and so is the scent. All of the Batise dry shampoo scents are very appealing, this one, Blush, is a very softly scented mix of floral and fresh, nice and not overpowering at all. I get at least a dozen applications from one can, so it is a great value as well.
I received Batiste Dry Shampoo with the luscious Tropical (coconut and exotic) scent. It's divine! This product works like magic on my hair and it's a snap to use! Very easy! It's effortless and reliable. It's a must-have for today's hustle and bustle lifestyle. Dry shampoo is a quick fix to help with oily roots without using water. You just section off your hair and spray onto your roots/scalp. Then work the powder in for about a minute or so and brush your hair eliminating any extra. It's a way to spread out the time between washes. So when you find yourself in a tight spot, Batiste Dry Shampoo can give you an amazing boost of clean and fresh hair. It blends in so nicely. It really puts the oomph back into lifeless hair! I have very fine, fly away hair and Batiste gives my hair plenty of body, volume and texture. It even gives me the appearance of having more hair. Instead of brushing out the excess, just a quick spray and leave it in and I'm able to create many of the up-do's. My hair doesn't have the fly-aways when I use this, it gives me some hold without being stiff. It's not a heavy powder feeling and it washes out easily. Batiste is really excellent anytime you want that just styled look to last a little longer. Also after a good work-out, from the office to a night out and how about those hot, humid summer days! It makes you feel fresh and confident! Batiste Dry Shampoo is very good for any hair crisis and or touch up. An impressive product with many uses at a very affordable price. A must have to carry with you!
I received this product through the Spark Reviewer Program and am very pleased with it. In all my many years I had never used a dry shampoo until now, but after hearing my daughter and granddaughter talking about dry shampoo, decided to give it a try. This last weekend my grandson graduated from college and in all the last minute rush, I really didn't have time to wash my hair and get everything else done. So decided this was the perfect time to try my new dry shampoo which had just come in the mail. Boy, am I glad I did! It just worked beautifully. I had no idea you could get such good results. I wasn't even sure how to use it, but googled "dry shampoo" and was given a YouTube video to watch and learn. Very easy, smelled good and my hair looked MUCH better! Still not quite sure how it works, but work it does!! It even got my through another 3 days and didn't look too bad. Finally decided this morning I'd better break down and wash it, but I know I'm going to using this a lot in the future. At my age, washing my hair is just not something I look forward to and this will be a wonderful way to put it off a few days. Great product!!
I have oily skin and oily hair, no matter if my hair is just a few hours after a shower my hair gets greasy looking. I LOVE this Batiste Dry shampoo ! It absorbs the grease right away,leaving my hair looking fresh and clean and the dry shampoo for me seems to last as a oil sponge so my hair looks fresher longer.I also use Batiste dry shampoo more in the winter because of the extra grease from wearing winter hats, I keep a small bottle with me to just freshen up at work. This Batiste floral & flirty blush has a lovely scent that is nice and clean .I defiantly recommend Batiste Dry Shampoo floral & flirty Blush ,it works and it works well.
This product is absolutely a life saver! I have never tried a dry shampoo before, have always heard about it , but never actually used it and when I used this product for the first time, I was amazed at incredible results. First of all I would like to point out that this product has got a mild flower scent, which is not sweet, more likely refreshing, the scent is not overpowering and after the use of the shampoo on your hair makes it smell so fresh! The bottle is very convenient, not too large, so it is easy to carry in the purse and have it on the go all the time! The spray strength is strong and constant. All you have to do is shake the bottle well and keep it about 10 in away from hair and spray on, after that go through the hair with your fingers and style! That's it! It is actually that easy and fast! I love this product, after the first use not only that it made my hair smell amazingly fresh but also gave it so much volume! It actually lifted my hair from the roots up and made it look like as if I had a blow out done, which I did not! I am a brand new fan of a dry shampoo now, this product is amazing, not only that it gives amazing long lasting results, but also I can take it in my purse with me anywhere I go and use it any time I need it. The bottle also last a long time I have used it twice already and it is still feeling full! LOVE this dry shampoo!
My first experience with Batiste came about after I had a baby. I didn't always have a chance to wash my hair as often as I would have liked and I hated having oily hair when I went out or when guests visited. I started researching for dry shampoos, and Batiste was highly recommended online. My first purchase was the Original/Classic one and I was glad by it. Now, this review is for my second Batiste - floral and flirty. I usually don't like to buy scented products, but I was positively impressed with the floral scent. It didn't feel like it was too strong, and I actually did enjoy the smell. This product is easy to apply and the results are quick. With a simple spray, a gentle massage, and a quick brush I would be ready to go out. It does not leave any white residue and it leaves my hair feeling more voluminous. I usually only spray at the root of my hair where it can get really oily, and leave out the rest of my hair. Again, Batiste is the first brand I have ever tried, but I am pretty satisfied and have found no reason to look for another brand.
Batiste Floral & Flirty Dry Shampoo comes in an aerosol spray can (like hair spray), and has a fairly pleasant light floral scent. The product is made in the UK (and shows corporate addresses in both the UK and Australia), so there are a few British English spellings and metric measurements on the label to deal with. (For example, the user is directed to hold the spray can approx. 30 cm from the scalp; US users will need to do a quick conversion to the measurements they're used to, to understand that the product is to be held approx. 12 inches away from the scalp.) Following the instructions, I shook the can several times, made sure my glasses were off and a hairbrush was handy, and then sprayed my hair with this product (mostly near the roots as instructed, although a fair amount landed further down the strands of hair as well). I then massaged the product into my scalp (as if I were working traditional shampoo through my hair), and finally brushed my hair. My hair had been pretty greasy-looking prior to applying the Batiste dry shampoo, and I was quite impressed at the dramatic improvement in its appearance after using this product (from "badly needs washing NOW" to "day after washing" at most). After brushing, there was no visible product remaining on my hair; however, there was some white residue on my scalp (which will need to be washed out the next time I shower). Although this product is not intended to replace regular hair washing with traditional liquid shampoo, it can be very helpful in "bad hair day" emergency situations, where one's appearance needs to be improved quickly (and probably without access to or time for a proper shower). The aerosol product format obviously wouldn't work for air travellers, but for everyone else, this isn't bad at all. Recommended!
This is a spray can of spray starch powder. It works well by absorbing oil & moisture. People have been using talc powder (baby powder) & starch powder for centuries to restore wigs, or people's hair so they don't have to wash out their perm or style. In a spray can, you can aim it where you want it rather than get powder all over the place. This is great for freshening up your hair before an important lunch meeting, or when you're going to meet people straight after work, or just don't want to wash out your styling that day. The slim can can fit in most purses, glove boxes, & desk drawers. It comes in a convenient smaller can too, that is pocket sized or to fit in very small purses. I prefer a talc based dry cleaner rather than a starch based. Talc absorbs oil & repels moisture, where the starch will absorb both. With the starch on very humid days, or if you get caught in some rain it can turn to paste or tiny white lumps. So when you use it, try to stay dry. As with most spray hair products, don't use near fire or heat sources because they have flammable ingredients. This has propane, butane, & alcohol in it. But it evaporates in your hair very quickly. So it will be all gone & you hair will be safe in under a minute. This is not a men's product. It smells like flowers. They say the smell dissipates after an hour or so, but the hair will still smell a little bit like flowers for the rest of the day. They shipped me 2 cans. The slim 6.73oz can (should fit most purses), & the convenient 1.6oz pocket sized can that's great for on the go. In the pictures, I show the small can, a hand, & kitty to compare the handy pocket version with. The larger can is about twice as tall & about 20% wider.
I work out a lot and then have to return to work or go onto a social event. There's nothing worse than going with sweaty hair and wondering if it smells sweaty. In the past, I brushed my hair then used a puff pad to put a little talcum on my hair and brushed that through. It made my hair dry and smelled great but it looked dull and flat, taking my wave out with the weight of the powder. This product is made for exactly what I need. A quick fix until I can shower. I love the smell of the Blush fragrance it smells like light flowery clean linen. It's a soft but attractive fragrance. I also tried the Tropical fragrance, the summery coconut like fragrance is wonderful. Like many regular shampoos I have used. Although this product does have a slight white powder look when using, it brushes out taking any sweat or grease with it and leaving hair soft and shiny. I would really recommend this for someone who is disabled and cannot shower as often as the wish or someone who is hospitalized. Recently, my mother in-law was in the hospital for a few weeks after a surgery before they let her shower. She hated the look and feel of her dirty hair. I wish I had known about this dry shampoo. She would have been thrilled.
Sometimes I find myself in a rush, with no time to grab a shower before attending a meeting or casual event, yet my hair isn't really fresh enough to go out in public. Batiste's Floral & Flirty Blush Dry Shampoo is a good alternative in a pinch. By spraying it on and working it through my hair, it not only grabs the oil, but it gives the strands a considerable amount of lift. The scent of the spray is very nice, also. I have been very pleased with this product and plan to continue to use it. Keep in mind, however—this is not a substitute for a standard wet shampoo and rinse. I would only use the dry shampoo as a stop gap for those occasions when you just aren't able to get in a shower. Also, take care not to spray too much of the shampoo, as it will begin to turn your hair powder white. This product also tends to sprinkle a bit of the powdery substance on my skin and counter top, but it wasn't anything severe. Just a quick wipe when finished.
