[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Hartz® UltraGuard Pro® Flea & Tick Drops for Dogs and Puppies 31-60 lbs on my Dog, and I have to say that this product was easy to apply and works great! My boy has been flea and tick free for a month so far, with no side effects, and he is one happy doggie.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample a little over a month ago. I was skeptical at first because I always used a different brand. When I received the Hartz Flea Medicine I made sure I read all the instructions and ingredients. The packaging was very well enclosed so I felt save leaving it out for when the nibby (lol) grandchildren came over. The product was easy to open and apply to Diesel. He skin accepted the medicine quite well. He usually runs around and rolling over to get the flea medicine off. Now with this Hartz brand he did not do his act. Now after a month I can not find any fleas. Or black speaks on Diesel skin. I give this product a great review and will be using instead of my regular medicine. I also believe this will be a little cheaper.

Our dog Jester has not had a flea or tick on him and he loves to run through tall grass. We're always worried he'll come back with something on him. This product is really good. Lasts a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Ultra Guard Flea & Tick Drops to try on my dog from Hartz. Easy to apply -doesn't irritate the skin either. Does have a odor to it that slowly fades away to nothing. I love the added benefit of incorporating Tick protection into this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sampled Hartz Ultra Guard Pro. I usually use the vet recommended product. I feel the applicator on the Hartz product was much easier to use. The liquid went on easily. I did not see a difference in the look, smell or feel of Hartz Ultra Pro compared to the vet recommended product. I waited a few weeks to see if the product would work. In the height of flea and tick season in NY, Hartz Ultra Guard Pro did it's job. Very impressed being that I always felt vet recommended products that are twice the price were the way to go. When it comes to my dogs, I do not spare any expense. Now I can feel confident using Hartz Ultra Guard Pro.
Little Bella had a suspected tick, after one hour after applying suspect was history! Big Bailey is no longer scratching, no horror stories like you here of, I suspect these people did not follow the instructions correctly, remember when applying these strong medications to follow instructions to the TV. The one customer was speaking of washing the medicine of the head of the animal, we'll the medicine is supposed to go on the spine, not the head in the first place.
Unfortunately my dog reacted badly to this medicine. He was shaky for the first five days and couldn't bare to have his tummy touched for the first 2 weeks, he almost bit my son which was totally unlike him. Not every medicine works for everyone.
This product does NOT kill fleas! I have a boxer, mix with Shepard and it did NOTHING for his fleas.
First off, the amount that you see in the tube, is how it came... all three tubes. Secondly, I have a small dog (shitzhu) and it wasn't enough to go from the nape of his neck to his tail. Thirdly, it did not work! This is the first yr that he's ever scratched himself this bad. I usually buy it from the store instead of ordering. I will never order it online again because I am sure that this isn't the solution and is probably water. I was very disappointed.
