Received this product weeks ago and used it on my dog Fancy. Was really easy to use and after applying it left a pleasant frangrance on my dog. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I tried Hartz® UltraGuard Pro® Flea & Tick Drops for Dogs and Puppies 31-60 lbs on my Dog, and I have to say that this product was easy to apply and works great! My boy has been flea and tick free for a month so far, with no side effects, and he is one happy doggie. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I came close to buying one of those expensive flea collars this year, but didn't. And I went online to the pet stores researching all the topicals, too. Then I decided to save my money and buy what I have always bought - Hartz. They have different ones, the basic up to the pro, which I buy. My dogs have been running around a one acre yard for years and only ONE time did they ever have a flea - it was this past winter when I wasn't using a flea treatment. Lesson learned: This stuff works. If it aint' broke, don't fix it. Also, the vet was right when she said they can get fleas in the wintertime. Luckily it was just one flea and I noticed it on the deck before we entered the house. All brands, cheap or expensive, drops or collars, will have bad reviews because not all dogs react to the same ingredients. Doesn't mean they're good or bad. I couldn't chance spending $100 to find out my dogs and their ingredients didn't get along. And it wasn't necessary anyhow, because what I had been using has always worked for all of my dogs.
I received this sample a little over a month ago. I was skeptical at first because I always used a different brand. When I received the Hartz Flea Medicine I made sure I read all the instructions and ingredients. The packaging was very well enclosed so I felt save leaving it out for when the nibby (lol) grandchildren came over. The product was easy to open and apply to Diesel. He skin accepted the medicine quite well. He usually runs around and rolling over to get the flea medicine off. Now with this Hartz brand he did not do his act. Now after a month I can not find any fleas. Or black speaks on Diesel skin. I give this product a great review and will be using instead of my regular medicine. My pet is not normally in a flea and tick are but do still use the product for protection in areas that are known to have them and so far none have appeared or brought home. Product does what it says it does [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received this product for free from Hartz. I have been using another brand for years and, since I'm always on the lookout for new products, I was happy to use these drops on my dog. I received this Ultra Guard Flea & Tick Drops to try on my dog from Hartz. Easy to apply -doesn't irritate the skin either. Does have a odor to it that slowly fades away to nothing. I have been buying this product for our four dogs for months. I have found that it works just as well as the other products that cost more money. All my dogs are well behaved when I apply it. You gotta try it!
I sampled Hartz Ultra Guard Pro. I usually use the vet recommended product. I feel the applicator on the Hartz product was much easier to use. The liquid went on easily. I did not see a difference in the look, smell or feel of Hartz Ultra Pro compared to the vet recommended product. I waited a few weeks to see if the product would work. In the height of flea and tick season in NY, Hartz Ultra Guard Pro did it's job. Very impressed being that I always felt vet recommended products that are twice the price were the way to go. This works way better than the ultra guard plus. I use this on my two cats as well as my dog.
