I had a very hard time finding a brand of dog food that my dog would like and that was also good for her. after switching to this brand we absolutely love it her coat is shinier and she is much happier. The weight control dog food is great as well she has recently lost 4 lb which has been wonderful for her health. I also love that it comes in a variety have different flavors and different sizes as my dog is a small breed so there is small bites for her little tiny mouth.
One of our dogs needs a little help with his weight loss, besides his thyroid meds. Walmart's Pure Balance dog food is Super Premium, but affordable. I researched other weight management dog foods, but based on ingredients Pure Balance Pro is the best. After just 2 weeks, his collar is already less tight and has more energy.
I have 2 female pugs that have issues with pancreatitis so they have to have a low fat diet. This dog food seems to work well so far. They've been on it for 3 months now. The pugs aren't wild about the taste but it's better than getting sick.
Dogs have always liked pure balance, and the vet put one of mine on Science Diet, and she got the worst skin condition, I put her back on this for weight loss.
My Daughter’s dog is diabetic so She has to watch what She feeds him and luckily this is one dog food he can have but it would be nice if it came in a bigger bag like other dog food brands do. It would mean less trips to the store and not all stores always have it in stock. We either have to travel a bit or have it delivered.
The kibble is super small. Which is great for my fat little pug. However, there seems to be excessive “dust” (crumble) within each bag. I’m on my second purchase. She doesn’t LOVE it but eats it anyway. I have noticed a less toaster-like physique to her lately so we’ll keep trying this until I find something that she truly like that’s a weight management type if that’s even a thing. We’re coming off a 4 year devotion to Iam’s.
My dog seems to like the food but this bag was unsealed and about 1/3 of the bag fell out onto my driveway.
it had a lot of waste at the bottom of the bag like somebody picked up a cup of dirt off of the floor and just put it in the bag at the bottom so the material shakes off of the dust or whatever shakes off of the the dog food and ends at the bottom of the bag like a whole cup full I didn't like that
Wish the bag came in a larger size, but this one is ok as it is to help my medium size dog to lose weight. This is my second bag and I can see she is getting a waist line which is great. this one also doesn't come with a lot of additives that I need to be concerned about.
My three dogs loved this food, but I definitely need the bigger bag which I can't find anywhere so unfortunately we switched back to the Diamond brand bc I can get that in the big bags. Other than that it was a great food for them.
