I've always used these for my guinea pigs as they both love to hide and chew on the hide away. It's a perfect 2 in 1 use. They also like to stand on top of them.
Great product for my Guinea Pigs! They love to chew on this log. It is perfectly made so they can chew on the edges. They also like sleeping inside it.
This thing is huge! So much more bigger than a guinea pig. I dare say maybe 2 could even fit in it to pass through. Well, i just now bought it
My hamster really enjoyed the log. He likes to dig at it, chew on it, and even sleep on it. Not only is it a good chew, it also is edible and full of nutrients and treats. I really suggest you get this if your pet needs a good chew and treat.
the guinea pig liked it, but in a week it broke in half
why in the world would walmart discontinue this item? its upsetting because i cant find this anywhere and my rabbit needs them for his teeth its the ONLY THING he will chew.
i have two hamsters and they both seemed to enjoy them. they've had them for probably two months; and while cleaning their cage today, i found mold on it. please be cautious about these!
Do not buy this... Like other reviews this product gets stuck in the digestive track. My son's hamster died about two weeks following getting this log. It was 7 months old and in perfect shape. I soaked this log in water and vinegar for several hours and it never got even soft. There is no way this log is edible. Horrible product and now I have a devistated child.
I bought this for a hamster it's huge the size for a rabbit or guinea pig which I didn't realize because it was listed for hamsters so now I have to bring it to the Walmart to return We have dwarf hamsters. I'm not happy I was offered a different size!
Please do not buy this for your hamster it killed our perfectly healthy hamster within 2 weeks of buying this!!!!!! I do not understand why this is advertised for hamsters if you look at the ingredients it has pine shavings which are deadly to hamsters and guinea pigs. There should be some kind of regulation making sure that things sold for animals are safe for them you would not advertise and sell poison to a human in a candy so why is it ok to do it to defenseless animals!!!! My daughter loved and took so much care of our hamster and never thought buying something advertised for hamsters would harm our baby. I hope people read this and do not buy this item for hamsters or guinea pigs.
