The Kobo Clara is an excellent reader. In terms of hardware, Kobo keeps the Clara simple by removing the need for buttons and keeping all actions to taps and gestures on the screen. The backlight reduces blue light exposure which allows for easy reading at night and causes little to no strain on the eyes. The text is easy to read, and the feedback to the users actions is near-instantaneous and leads to a frustration free experience. I would highly recommend this product for someone looking for an portable e-reader.
I've been a kobo user for over 5 years, I've used all e-readers from sony, the nook and kindle and by far the kobo has exceeded all expectations. For avid readers, being able to left-justify text, change fonts, etc makes the reading experience more enjoy able for your style of reading. Can't express how much I enjoy this product, highly recommend it.
This is without a doubt the best ebook I have ever touched. It's extremely light to hold, gives a picture-perfect image, and can even be used as a stand in case you grew tired of holding it. But the best part about this ebook, without a doubt, is the fact that the light emulating from the screen is extremely easy on the eyes. I have encountered various ebooks in the past that I have ordered on Amazon that reverted me back to using the physical copy of the book because the screens hurt my eyes. But this ebook is not only INCREDIBLY light on my eyes, its screen seems to make it easier to read. It even feels like I'm able to read at a faster pace now! Whether you're in a dark place in bed, or enjoying the gorgeous day out in the park, this screen adjusts so well to its surroundings that you can find a place to read anywhere. Its battery life is fantastic, and I can not say enough good things about it. Anybody who enjoys reading absolutely needs to have this ebook. I'm writing this review as part of a contest.
I absolutely love my Kobo Aura H20!! Here are a few things I love about this ebook Display/ Customization First off, there are a ton of options in terms of optimizing your reading experience. For example, I am able to adjust the font, font size, brightness, line spacing, margins - the list is endless! Additionally the screen and text is absolutely crisp and smooth. Waterproof I love that I can be reading by the beach or pool without worrying about a few splashes on my screen. I also keep my e-reader in my backpack at all times and I love that I don't have to be concerned about a few rain drops ruining my device. Battery life The battery life of this is amazing!! I read quite often at night so I was worried that the lighting on my Kobo would cause it to drain my battery life. However, I've been very pleasantly surprised! I really like this E-reader. It's a good higher end device that includes a built in backlight and really nice user display. It feels really good in your hand and comes with a built in stand. I'd highly reccomend this product. This review was written as part of a contest.
I did a lot of research to find the right e-reader, and this is it! It has a responsive touch screen, easy interface, long battery life, automatic screen brightness and blue-light reducing technology, and most importantly-- its WATERPROOF. Also, it's easy to transfer my own ebooks from my laptop to the e-reader. I am very excited about my purchase!! Thank you, Kobo!

I've had the Kobo Aura H2O edition 2 for just over a month, and LOVE it so far. I've read a number of books in various indoor and outdoor lighting, and it's easy on the eyes. The battery lasted longer than expected, and I enjoy the personalized features it offers! I highly recommend this Kobo!
After researching, I found that Kobo is supposed to be the best alternative to Kindle. I ordered two of these and had to return both due to the screen flickering every time I changed pages. I didn't want to be stuck on an Amazon device, but I feel that I don't have a choice. The screen quality of this wasn't acceptable for the price.
