They hold up well. Hoping they breakdown/biodegrade quickly.
Our family prefers these to the paper straws- no after taste and can throw in our composter after. Win win!
Plastic straws are not really my thing. I have metal ones, but they aren't always appropriate. These straws are perfect for us.

I personally really like the straws. They are sturdy and last a while. The price for these straws have gone up too much in the last 2 years. I can no longer justify paying over $4 for 50 straws and will be going elsewhere to purchase.
Typically these are good straws for those who don't like metal, plastic, or paper. I have purchased these several times as the brand I normally buy have been taken out of our local stores but this last box I bought smells EXACTLY like urine!
