I have been using SG dishwasher powder for years. I had tried all the natural cleaners available and then found this. I am unsure why some people are having spotty results. I have never seen any. Also, I find that it cleans out coffee stains etc much much better than the other brands I tried. Love Seventh Generation. I now use this, the liquid dish soap and the liquid Laundry Soap.
I've been using the dish soap, hand soap, and laundry detergent. I gave it a whirl after realizing I had no pods left, so the dishes were in the washer for 1.5 days. I bought the powder. Dishes are done and are squeaky clean--amazing!! I have baby bottles, wooden spoons, regular dishes and glasses and it blasted thru everything. Highly-Recommend!
We love this product but sadly it is harder and harder to find not in pods.
This is my favorite dishwasher detergent. The packs are pricey and partially get stuck in the dispenser leaving me to have to run two cycles. The liquid in plastic seems wasteful on two accounts. Other powder tabs that I've tried have left a residue. I've had a hard time finding this in stores lately, I hope that it isn't being phased out.
Not super happy to see the dish detergent I like so much and seems to be environmentally friendly has went from a plastic package to now a plastic package inside a cardboard package???? Why? Just stick with one type of recyclable packaging and don't be wasteful.
My first and only experience with a Seventh Generation product. I was sold on the clean and low toxicity of the ingredients since my wife and I decided to put the baby bottles in the dishwasher rather than keep hand washing them but we stopped after the second wash. The product leaves a white powdery residue on the clear glass bottles and this is unacceptable. We used powder detergents before but none left such residue.
Switched to this from trader joes powder and not satisfied, I have water that is both hot and soft and yet like others have said the powder never fully dissolves and always left with messy residue on everything. Then have to manually scrape out half dissolved powder and run rinse cycle to clean everything
I was so excited when I found this product. I have been using Seventh Generation dishwashing soap for years. I am so disappointed with the quality of this product. I have to have my dishes completely cleaned and rinsed before loading them into the dishwasher. Even then my glasses and silverware come out hideously spotted and filmy, and I use a premium rinse agent.
The new formula is awful! Leaves a film on my dishwasher and dishes! The old formula was way better. Why would you fix something if it isn't broken!
Using this for the first time. Very disappointed Does a poor job cleaning, and never dissolves completely in the soap holder, even when I let tap water run hot before turning on dishwasher. . I prefer a powder and this was only brand available when I ran out .
