Love these tortilla's fresh , good buy
I buy Ortega Flour Tortillas every time I am making burritos. They are not to dry and they don't tear! They taste great and my family loves to make quesadillas with them to. I like the that I can seal the package closed and it keeps them fresh.
I HAVE TO SAY I REALLY LOVED THESE ORTEGA FLOUR TORTILLAS ! SOFT AND FLUFFY -NOT FLAT AND CHEWY ! I WILL LOOK FOR THESE OFTEN- AS THEY CAN BE USED IN SO MANY DISHES AND EVEN MAKE DECENT MIDDLE EASTERN WRAPS AND GYROS !! IM SOLD ON ORTEGA NOW FOR GOOD !
Comes in a zip lock bag... hard to open that zipper, hard to close it too ... but I think it seals really really well. I like these things too much in all flavors & particularly like seeing the message on the bag saying 40% reduced sodium. Just me around here so I keep these in the refrigerator, same as I might with a loaf of bread after opening it - seems to keep much longer and none of that gray/green mold :)
These tortillas were a very nice size. The texture was very good. They are soft and have a great taste. They are the perfect size for burritos as they are a big larger. They are the perfect thickness as well, not too thick and not to thin so they don't break when you stuff them, but thin enough so you can roll them up. I can definitely recommend these for making burritos, tacos and they are perfect for fajitas!
They stay good in the pantry. I use them for all kind of tortillas from chicken to tacos. Nice to have on hand when I throw stuff together or want to use up leftovers.
There is a big difference between white corn, corn and flour tortillas. I use the flour here because it is easier to fold. I also buy white corn tortillas for the flavor alone as a stacked tortilla rather than as a rolled or folded.
they are plenty good, just a bit small to make a regular burrito or fajita. Tast wise they pass the test.
They don't rip easy which is nice. And they tastes good.
Thin, dry and don't steam well.
