This garbage can was a christmas gift for my mother, and she seems to be quite satisfied with it. It looks nice and clean and is functional. I'd tell people to buy it, it's of relatively good value. I'd suggest cheaper shipping, but that is my only complaint.
This black trash can is great in any decor. I would recommend this trash can to anyone!!!
This product is very good and worth every cent,with the foot pedal it make everything so much easier,keep hands cleaner because you may have something in hands that you can't put down so your foot pedal is right there.I find it easy to insert gabage bags then pull the tie,it keeps the bag from slipping down into the can.
I bought this product because it looks fabulous in the kitchen. It lasted 6 months, the foot pedal no longer works. It was connected by a tiny piece of plastic that snapped in half. Not to mention, it has its own pricey trash can liners that are sometimes hard to find to purchase. It is definately for looks only.
I had the same issue as the other reviewers - broken plastic piece to the opening device that cannot be replaced or repaired. It also does not open smoothly - It kind of "pops" open which probably causes extra wear and tear to the opening device. Nice looking product, but poor (cheap) design.
I purchased this in March and by August the device that opens the lid when you step on the pedal has snapped. I was very disappointed. The device is plastic and cannot be repaired. It defeats the purpose of the can. It looks very nice. The lid popped open a little abruptly and the can slides around when you open it so I had to keep putting it back in place. If you don't use it often and you don't have kids, it's a fine can. But if you need it to hold up to heavy use, don't buy it.
I bought this trash can in August and by October it would no longer work. I thought if I shelled out a little extra money I would get a better product. Not true...my foot petal broke as well and we have tried all sorts of ideas to repair the faulty item. My husband even welded a piece for it however the welded metal was to strong for the flimsy metal pieces that make the foot pedal work. Very disappointed.
Bought it in May for use in our kitchen and it was broken by September. The review below is right on! A piece of plastic that supports a metal bar in the opening mechanism snapped off. I am handy, but you cannot rerpair it. This renders the step-on opening feature useless. You have to manually lift the lid if you want to continue use. It does also slide around when you step on it. I would NOT recommend this product!
A good and sturdy lookin' trashcan, but when I received it, the thing was broken!! So had to return it and re-order!!!! Sometimes site 2 store isn't the best way to get things.
THE SAME PROBLEM I HAD LIKE THE ABOVE REVIEW! THE STEP HANDLE BROKE TOO! IT'S PLASTIC SO YOU CANT FIX IT! IT HAS THE LOOKS BUT POOR QUALITY!
