I followed directions on the can and added 6 ounces of product in my motorcycle. After running it through my bike starts easier and feels more powerful. I also ordered a second can to use in my Subaru to make it run better and it is.
You know, I started using this additive in all my engines after Al Linder recommended using it on his fishing show about 10 years ago. I said to myself Ron's a Christian and if he says it's good and that I should use it, then I believe it. I have never had an injector, fuel filter, or plug foul out on me in 10 years. Coincidence? maybe, but I believe that it does exactly what it says it does. I will continue to be faithful and use this till I find out otherwise. I am so amazed with SeaFoam Motor Treatment. My 1985 Nissan/Datsun 720 had an abrasive engine run-on after turning the key off (dieseling). A bottle of SeaFoam in the tank and a bottle sprayed down the carb throat and the problem is a thing of the past! Cleaned out all the gunk in the motor and it's running better than it has in 20 years!
I Finally found my Dream car but didn't think it would stay running long enough to get it home , well I made it ordered a carburetor rebuild kit then I remembered Dad telling me about Sea Foam Motor Treatment and I had to try it, well it worked Great, back to the store with the carburetor kit.
I initially started using Seafoam after buying an older Carbureted boat engine, that was running very rough on 3 year old low grade gasoline after having sat a while, I couldn't syphon the old gas out due to anti syphon valves in the filler tube. I put in about 10 oz of Seafoam per Gallon in the tank and then started the engine, it finally started and smoked quite a bit due to all the varnish burning up. I then ran the too engine cleaner through the carburetor, the engine went from barely running and stalling to running smoothly and with power.
This product has saved me from rebuilding carburetors at least 3 times. It corrects rough idle and acceleration issues. It also preserves gas for storage. This product is a MUST ever since they took lead out of gasoline. EXCELLENT!!
I used it on my Yard Machines 3.5HP Gas Lawn Edger, that was out of commission (wouldn't turn on) for over 3 years. I added it to the fuel, I cranked it up and it started on the first attempt but turned off soon after. I pumped some more fuel and cranked it up a second time and worked like a charm! Thanks for a such a great multi-use product, now trying this on my Hyundai Santa Fe.
Wait for Empty gas light to come on, add it to your tank, drive around block to mix it, let it sit overnight, AM fill up. I do this every 4-5 tanks. Own two 97 4runners, the baby has 185k, the other 307k. Never a problem with anything in fuel system. Both run like new, just do your regular maint and this and your set.
Keeping in mind that out of any of the couple places, I've actually seen this product sold, including Fry's I do my grocery shopping, it's the least expensive at Walmart Walmart. I can get two cans for a tad under 20 bucks. I have a 2005 Honda CRV now, but the two previous vehicles I had I could have treated better, not that it was my intention not to, but ever since I've had this current vehicle which I'm still paying off and have only a little bit over a couple thousand dollars left , I've had this vehicle for over a year since last November, and videos, and what people say about how well my vehicle is built and I seen dozens of them on the road since I've had this one, the three things I do to make sure it runs well despite the fact that I got it at 150,000 miles and I'm adding more miles onto it because I'm a ride for a coworker who hopefully he'll have a down payment for a new vehicle by the end of this year if not middle of next, I've been adding miles to this vehicle, but I do not reckless drive, I do tread observe my environment, and I not lead foot so I don't speed, in general, like I see other vehicles do. But the three things I do to take care of this vehicle the most that I try to keep up on a regular basis or getting my tire pressure checked once a month if not every once every month and a half, getting oil changes whenever I need to, and using a can every two weeks in a month to help, keep the workings of my vehicle, clean and running smoothly. Is there any one minor thing besides oil changes that might help a vehicle run fluidly especially if you want to take care of it in a very minor way, I would say get this product but keep in mind it's meant to be put in before you put the gas in for anyone just that doesn't know, because when the gas goes into your tank after the gas swirling around helps mix this stuff around which intern helps put it through the system.
