This is the best car cover I have ever purchased, and the price was approx half for what I would have paid at an auto parts store. 3 layers with a zippered access on the drivers side. The elastic all the way around ensures a tight fit without having to use bungees or rope, but it has grommets if you choose to do that.
I've bought 4 of these over the last few years. I cover my two ungaraged vehicles. They do a good job and last for about 2 years outdoor exposure. Good value for the protection they provide.
Like the zipper door on the drivers side. Keeps our car clean and safe in the rain. This is a really great product for the price. Highly recommended for anyone.
Love the car cover, no longer have to rinse the pollen off my vehicle after sitting under carport, most of the time..
I am using the cover in my garage to keep dust off of one of my cars that is not driven very often. The cover appears to be well made, fits better than I expected it would, and will do the job. It would have been nice if the inner layer was a little softer fabric but this should not be a real problem.
I was looking for an exterior car cover for my sister since the last several that she bought were cheap and would tatter in less than a month; think mainly b/c she bought one for the sake of buying one (the cheaper the better & didn't care if it was for interior or exterior) rather than purchasing a cover for the right purpose. I did some research and found this one, which fits her Jetta pretty snug. I could have gone a couple inches longer, but I basically had to research the length of the Jetta before deciding to purchase this particular cover. The quality is thick and a nice blend. One disappointment is that the description states a string/rope comes with the cover (a selling pt for me), but when it didn't come with one I was a bit disappointed; thus, the 4 stars instead of 5. We'll see if it holds up this winter because she doesn't plan on moving her car anytime soon.
Does not fit a 2013 Ford Focus ever well. The lenght is the right size but need about 6in to a foot taller. There is about 6in around the sides of my car showing. The ford Focus I have noticed is a tad hight than most other cars.
I rated this cover 3 stars simply because I was hoping someone would read this in case you wonder why this cover is discounted so much. It's a really good deal. The fabric is heavy and should last for at least two or three years. I own a 1997 Saturn SL which is considered a compact but the cover is too short. Short, not off the length but the cover doesn't come down to the bottom of my car around the sides by at least one foot. The tie down does help but if you've ever owned a car cover, in time they all stretch out, drastically. I figure in a year, it will probably be just right. And it's not that big of a deal because even though the lower part of my car, on the sides are exposed, that part of the car never really needs to be covered anyway. One other negative is that the zippered door access, on my car anyway, is located too far toward the front of the car. Not functional at all, unless you leave your driver's side window, down. Okay, why didn't I return it? Again, it's a good quality cover that will stretch so I can use it. But I do see why it was deeply discounted. Yes, I'd buy it again, for my car anyway.
I was looking for a more inexpensive cover to replace the one I had which was around $200 that I purchased perhaps 20 years ago. It has never been used outside in the weather and has lasted quite well. Sorry to say, it isn't cat proof. It provided very good service and the inside layer was a soft material the didn't scratch the clear coat finish on my 72 Chevelle Malibu. This cover is almost the same type material inside and out. I would be afraid to leave it outside on a vehicle that has a good finish for fear the wind what caused the cover to scratch the paint. As a dust cover inside of a garage it will get the job done. So for the money I paid for this cover, you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.
This product description doesn't match the actual product. Really, doesn't anyone proof read this kind of stuff before putting it on the website. My comments will probably get more attention before posting than the actual description, if they get posted at all. It talks about a folding tent trailer cover then says it has an antenna patch and a drivers side zippered door, again, really, on a folding tent trailer cover! Look at the picture of a car and then the Classic Accessories Polypro 3 Folding Camping Trailer cover... I took a chance and ordered the" folding tent trailer cover" because I wanted a car cover. A car cover did arrive, the wrong size of course. Not a big surprise based on all the wrong info on the webpage.
