These are great for gardening and if you need something to keep small items joined. They are easy to use and stay on great. These are not intended for heavy duty jobs and since they are 8 inches the items being joined together need to be skinny. I find them useful for all sorts of jobs around the house, great for permanent and sometimes temporary fixes. Great buy.
I received the Expert Gardener 8 inch self-locking cable ties from the Spark Reviewer program. They're easy to use and strong. The self-locking mechanism makes sure they'll stay in place. They're great for attaching fencing to small posts and can be used for a variety of plants. Great items that I recommend.
We have tied our plants up with these to keep them from breaking, secured my gazing ball so the wind won't blow it away, tied up tv cables to keep them from knotting, and list goes on. They're very secure and I'm sure we will find even more uses as time goes by. Great product. Definitely recommend to anyone. This honest review is given as a current Spark reviewer.
These black garden ties are super versatile. I prefer the black so it's easier to see them when attaching and removing from plants, veggies and shrubs. They are also much gentler than regular zip ties. They have a tapered tip which makes them easier to thread. They are very flexible - not stiff or rigid - so don't cut into tender plant stems and/or branches. They'e also weather resistant. They are more durable than twist ties and won't corrode outdoors. I've used them to stabilize my plants and shrubs, organize outdoor cables and wires, attach soap on stakes to deter deer, string lights and attach chimes to trees. They measure 4cm wide and 7.75 inches long. I highly recommend them for outdoor and garden use!
Expert Gardener and Walmart have a good bag of ties ! The great thing about these ties is the color black ! The color black, is easy to hide in foliage, but easy for you to find ! (see photos) They are easy to use, strong but cut off with strong scissors, side cutters or snips. Also a great value.
When I received these cable ties, I knew exactly what my first use would be. I have a Texas Sagebush which was severely leaning toward the ground. As the photos show, I was able to put a ground stake behind the bush and use these cable ties to attach it to the stake and pull it back into an upright position. The cable ties are attached loosely to give the bush room to grow. I can think of many other uses around the home for these ties. They will be perfect for bundling cables and cords. The quality is good and they hold securely once they attached. I would recommend purchasing this product for use inside and outside the home.
These black ties are 7.75" long and 1/8" wide. They are super easy to use to connect or hold any items you want to hold together. They work well in the garden and are gentle to plants. They are plastic and you receive 50 of them. They pull to within 1/2" of each other and as long as 2 1/2" around your item. I would recommend these ties.
These cable ties have always been a life saver for me. I keep these in my toolbox at all times. They are great for numerous jobs from tying together cable wires to securing my green house tarp. They come in several sizes and colors from small to gigantic. I even used them to color Code my artificial Christmas tree limbs when the original colors of the limbs rubbed off. Over time they do crack in the outside elements but they're easily replaced.
These ties are handy to keep around. I use them in the garden to tie up tomato plants. In the landscape to secure leaning plants. To tie up big lawn trash bags. Securing extension cords off the ground. They are smooth and will not damage fragile plant stems and are easy to remove with a pair of scissors or diagonal cutters. The 7.75 inch length is just right for most uses. If you need a longer one they are very easy to double up and make twice the length by threading them together.
These Expert Gardener cable ties are an absolute necessity for making wreaths. I also use them for applying string lights to objects and for numerous other household items. I needed to place a 3D flamingo on a wreath. I used one of these at the top and bottom of the legs and the flamingo is secure. They pull taught and very secure once tightened. These are perfect for storing electrical cords and are so easy to use. This is a pack of 50 but they go fast!
