Love this feeder in long lasting Cedar. It fits perfectly on my 4x4 post and the removable top provides easy access to refill with seed. This is a well made feeder with a classic design that will last for years.
It is sooooo beautiful! Very classy and also durable. I just love it. I made a 5 ft tall pole holding 4 planters (using a pot hook) and then tied the bird feeder on top. It turned out so cute.
I wasn't sure about it to begin with, but when it snowed yesterday, this was the only feeder I have that was open to the birds. Because there is a ledge that they stand on that is not open, it was easy for the birds to access the birdseed. The squirrel has been outwitted by this feeder as well, not quite sure why but less problems with this one than the other feeders I have.
Very nice feeder. I added a squirrel baffle I bought somewhere else to prevent squirrels getting in. The birds, from tiny buntings to blue jays and doves, just love it. The little buntings sit inside the gazebo and feel safe eating, and the larger birds have no problem perching on it. I'm very pleased.
I have had this this particular bird feeder for years. Unfortunately, a rogue squirrel decided to throw it to the ground and broke it. We were so happy to be able to purchase another one. It holds a good amount of seed and held up great through all the terrible weather conditions. It also looks great!
I have 3 of these now! It's made very well. The price is outstanding. Love how it looks. And my husband wrapped a small bungee cord around the top circle hooked it on the bottom of the roof on both sides and now the squirrels can't get in it!! Best feeder I have had in a long long time!!
This is one great birdfeeder! Just the right size to keep out those doves that will practically nest in a birdfeeder eating non stop all day. It's also too small for the flock of Grackles that will rake half the food onto the ground for that prized peanut. This allows the cardinals, bluejays, woodpeckers, thrashers, titmice wrens and a variety of others birds to eat happily. The cedar wood construction does not rot or break even after it's been knocked down many times by raccoons. I give it a 2 thumbs up and 5 stars for durability, functionality and appearance. Doesn't keep the squirrels out. But seriously what good looking, functional and economical birdfeeder does? I highly recommend this birdfeeder. Oh, and Walmart has the best price for this Made In America product!
This was smaller than I expected. I have a very old one that has lost some of its roofing, so I got this to replace it. It does seem well-made, but smaller than it needs to be to look right on the post that is supporting the original. This does have a way to hang, so I may just use it that way. The price was great.
It’s a beautiful feeder, but unfortunately it’s been two weeks and the birds won’t use it.
This wooden bird feeder did not last 3 weeks in the Florida winter sunshine. The wood dried out and split. The bottom has come loose from all its stapled points. I do not recommend this feeder.
