I used these 6.5 inch speakers to replace the factory 6 inch speakers in my 2000 Kia Sportage. I had to drill new holes in the car because of the size difference. I had to use spacers made of drilled wooden dowels to accomodate the factory 6 inch diameter spacers that were removed. These installled easily and work great, I highly recomend them for this application. I don't know why Kia uses 6 inch speakers from the factory. I could not find 6 inch speakers anywhere and these worked perfectly.
The first set of speakers had a buzz in one of the speakers, so I had to return them and order another set. The second set is working well so far. Walmart took the return without any resistance - a valuable retail practice for any client looking to buy a product.
I needed replacements for my blown annoying Pioneer of same size and similar power handling and although I was going to go with a much higher quality set I came to my senses and thought a more reasonable cost set was in order. I'm only in my car 20 minutes a day and no longer have 16.5 hour drives each way 2 times a year so give this Pyle PL63BL set a try, not likely I will blow these 360 watts on my Sony system with Alpine power amp. They arrived in a few days were easy to install after removal of the door panel and sound great.
Great value and price point. The speakers are clear and crisp. You aren't going to win any competitions but for every day listening they are great. I connected them to the factory wiring which is kind of thin but they still sound good. They are way better than the thin cardboard busted stock speakers that they replaced.

I bought these speakers along with a matched size subwoofer for a custom-made boom box. The price was right, the delivery was quick, the quality is good, and the sound is fantastic. Life is good.
Great sound for a reasonable price! So far, I've purchased two sets, one for a Mazda MX3 as door speakers, and as ceiling speakers for our local Nerf shop (a 40'x30' room with 16' ceiling) . Works great in both applications! The bass is what you'd expect from a 6.5" speaker (they physically can't put out a ton of bass by nature of their size) but the mids and highs are clean . If absolutely needed, they could be augmented with subs if a person needs bone-rattling! They're not too deep as far as mounting depth, so they'll go into many front doors without much fuss.
