This jack is great for our repairs of an older trailer. it has smooth operation, the foot is easily changed and it has a hole to insert the retaining pin of a Castor Wheel. the bolt pattern is correct. I recommend this jack.
Okay this is the Second time trying to get This. I was told it was delayed , then I was told it's a Computer error and was requested Canceling BY ME ! NOT ! so I had to repurchase , hopefully it will get here this time.
The central New York winters finally took a toll on my old jack, freezing and snapping the crank. So, in a panic, I found this online and my local store (open for only another 35 minutes) had just 1 left in stock. Surprisingly, the 3 bolts holding the old jack on came right off. Unfortunately, the bolt holding the old foot was rusted tight, so I had to bust out the recip saw. Once the old jack was removed, this bolted right on, with the holes perfectly spaced. The foot also bolted together with no issue. After replacement, I was able to jack my 5x8 enclosed Pace American trailer (very close to the 2000 lb max capacity) up and down with very little work. In fact, the jacking up was just about as easy as down. ONE NOTE: After about 24 hours, the part that connects the handle to the jack screw began showing rust. This isn't surprising, considering all the precipitation and salt in the air (CNY winters are harsh). This is the part that broke on my old jack, but I can only imagine a little WD40 will help. Otherwise, changing the jack once a year for $20 doesn't seem all that bad. All in all this is a great replacement part for any A-Frame trailer. Easy as pie to install with simple tools.
Good price and works well. I have a 15 ft fleetwood trailer and it matched the mounting holes and top frame hole for the jack. However the bottom hole in the frame was too small so I had to drill it with a metal holesaw. Very smooth and easy operation.
Works great on 1982 Coachman camper. Only issue was having to purchase bolts to attach to the A frame. Welding is an option, but I prefer bolting so I can remove if necessary. Raises the camper evenly and extremely easily.
Operates smoothly and is easy to adapt dolly type caster to base. Mounted on 7x16 tandem axle Big Tex vehicle hauler/ general cargo trailer.
Very pleased with the quality, price, Etc. But, I failed to check diameter of the whole the replacement would fit into. and had to enlarge the diameter of the hole. Otherwise I'm very pleased.
I just received it late, not anyone's fault, other than mother nature, so I haven't had time to install it yet, it seems like it's decent for the price, but only time will tell, I will try and update later
Disliked how wal-mart would show the trailer a-fame jack item as in stock. Always would cancel order and raise the price to re-order. Price started at $25.98 to $46.99 to $48.25, I canceled the last order on 11/17/2022, now the price is at $47.14 - Thanks for the run around, greedy s.o.b.'s
Horrible. I took my trailer out twice with this on it. 2nd trip, after stopping I saw the the handle had disappeared and the jack was dragging the ground. The handle just unscrewed itself someone how and now I have a useless jack that has to be replaced. GARBAGE
