Sorely disappointed in what was supposed to be a quality Reese accessory. When I received it the box was totally destroyed. It had clear packing tape all over it in a semi-successful attempt to keep it together because the extension was not packaged securely and was allowed to flop around. I inspected the extension for damage and my disappointment started when I found the reinforcing square at the end was uneven, not square with the end of the extension tube. When I installed the extension to my pickup and TRIED to put the ball mount in it, it wouldn't even start to go in. Looking closer I found that the uneven reinforcement had allowed welding slag to enter the 2 inch opening effectively blocking it. I chiseled the offending slag away and put the ball mount in, only to find the opening narrowed where the 5/8" pin goes through, effectively blocking the ball mount. I threw in the towel and am returning it tomorrow.
