This fryer met all my expectations. I have a Fry Daddy I use when cooking for two and needed a larger one to use when I had company. This one fills the bill. The warm-up and cook times are great, it holds a large load and clean-up is easy with the lift-out liner. I really like it.
I've had this deep fryer for about a month, used it more than 10 times, works great. It heats up really quick, and the oil stays at the set temp, gets my chicken and fries fried just right. I love it, would def recommend this.
Heats great and food cooks well. Love that it lets you know when food is ready. I was able to put two medium size whole catfish in at one time. Awesome! Continued to cook shrimp and hush puppies which all came out beautiful and oh so tasty. None of the food stuck to basket. I lowered the basket first and then put the food in. The only costly thing you do need to know is that it takes like a gallon of oil to barely meet the lowest oil line indicator.
Got tired of cleaning up huge mess every time hubby wanted to fry fish, never had a deep fryer before. I like this one it has the magnetic cord but with prongs so it doesn't pop off every time you move it . Size is fine for 2 to 5 people. Best of all it has a top with a filter. I'm happy.
I have only had this item for a month. Used it twice and it seems to work good and holds the oil to set temp. I wish someone would come up with a home filtering funnel. Cheese cloth works good, but it's slow. Plus the cost of cooking oil makes you want to use the oil more then once. Overall I am very happy with the fryer.
I like it. Has a deep pan, easier to fry bigger pieces of chicken. Easy to clean, but I do put a dish rag over control panel. It has quick recovery. But it does run 20 degrees under set temp. Still it does every thing I need it to do. Its a good fryer for the price.
The fryer worked great and met my expectations but next time I would buy it at the store intead of online and having it shipped. The front part of the fryer was dented and the basket was bent. I was able to bend it to work but next time I would buy it in the store. It was shipped in it's original box and not put into another more durable box.
Great loved it,especially timer.
The packaging had packaging tape holding the box closed. The original tape was cut so it was technically an open box item. The deep fryer had a dent in the outer casing. I live far from the store so it is really not practical to return it so I guess I'm stuck with it.
I used to love these deep fryers. This was my third one. I used to replace them every 3-5 years, because the got more difficult to clean over time. Never had an issue with the unit itself though until the last one I ordered. It broke after 11 months. I contacted customer service and they made me jump through all sorts of hoops. Send us the serial number, send us this other number, send us a picture of the unit, send us a picture of the heating element. It never ended. Then they blamed it on the oil I was using, and wanted me to replace that. I used various versions of this model for over 10 years, always with the same oil, no issues. After a large number of interactions I gave up. Will buy my next fryer from a different manufacturer.
