I received this product about a week ago and I am a very pleased parent. My 4 year old son just started Pre-school and all the learning skills he receives from play time with the Teach 'n Tag Movi by Fisher Price are an add on to his learning skills in school. From critical thinking skills when given animal sounds and answering with corresponding colors to basic follow directions with dance moves. My son is learning so much while being able to move along with Movi. I'm really impressed with Fisher Price products and have to say that learning while moving and having fun is definitely key to a spunky toddler's learning experience! As soon as my son saw the box, he wanted to play with it right away. It's a lot of fun for kids and parents. Our favorite game is red light/green light. There's just the right amount of buttons and games so it's easy and not too complicated for my three year old to work. Movi helps my son learn while having fun! Movi arrived on a rainy day and it was perfect timing! This toy is fun and engaging. I love that it got my 4 yr old up and moving around while also keeping his mind engaged and making him pay attention/listen to instructions. He loves playing with Movi. The toy is too advanced for my 18 month old to truly play with but so far it has proved durable enough for him to try ;) Only downside was the difficulty of getting it out of the packaging, otherwise I have been very pleased and would definitely recommend for ages 3-5. My 3 yo grand daughter loves her newest birthday gift.
This toy is pretty awesome and I LOVE that it keeps my kids moving and thinking, I feel that it needs an introductory mode perhaps because it took a lot of patience for my toddler to learn how to use it properly, once we get over how to use it though she absolutely loves it and calls it “my baby robot.” [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My 4 year old loves this toy! Right out of the box he was playing along and dancing with Movi, games like Simon Says and Guess the animal sound. His 9 year old brother even joined in for a little while! Great little toy that gets kids on their feet and still engages their brains! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We received Movi from Mattel to review. I was very excited to try this out since my son saw this on a commercial and wanted it. However he wasn't as impressed with the actual toy. The sound was very low so he would get frustrated because he couldn't understand what Movi was saying. The concept is cool because it plays games and is educational,I just think it needs a little tweeking to be enjoyable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My son is 4 years old and it didn't keep his attention for more than 10 mins. The toy is well made and would be great for a younger child with the lights and sounds. I would suggest changing the recommended age to 3 and below. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My child received this for Christmas and has played with it about 3 times since being opened and it already does not work. Batteries were replaced, doubled checked, triple checked the connections and the most we've gotten out of it is a blurb of sound. My 4 year old was brought to tears. Don't waste your money.
This toy supper cute for kids to learn but better go to store to buy delivery was bad came all broken it looked like it was in a train wreck buy at store
