It has no scrim, so stitches can be up to 4" apart for best stability and tension. It is a soft, durable, and substantial batting created for quilters who want cotton with the added benefit of being able to wash and good stitch definition. Please note: do not wash batting until covered in fabric / completed project. Finished project can be machine washed and dried. Fiber Content: Acid-Free 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester.
