I'm thoroughly pleased with my Big Shot. After years of using a Cuttlebug( which finally went be with all the other Cuttlebugs that courageously died in the line of duty)I was amazed at the ease of running dies through. I would highly recommend this if you are debating on which die cutting machine to get.
I really like this machine. It handles bigger plates nicely. I don't use the big plates a lot. I use the 6 in regularly. This comes handy when I feel lazy and I don't want to cut the paper to fit the machine. Beware of the size. Only buy it if you have the storage space.
This was a great deal for $100 %26 well worth the money. I'm loving my new machine, easy tools use. Made a birthday gift %26 everyone loved it using a die cutting piece. Cannot wait to create all sort of projects. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys making paper projects.
I absolutely loved the Sizzix Big Shot Shape - Cutting %26 Embossing plus machine that my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. I previously had a tiny tiny one but got so much use out of it, what I love about my Sizzix is I can make all of my dies at once, big, small etc.. This machine is easy to use, has a great sturdy bottom that doesn't slide around when I rotate the plates through. Oh, and thankfully plates for die cutting and embossing both came with this kit. Yay and on sale 😊😊😊

I didnt know I needed this! Im a card making novice but this made all my ideas in my head a reality. Anyone who wants to up their card game needs this machine. Its super easy to assemble the handle (like 30 seconds) and die cutting instructions are easy to follow. Havent embossed yet but I don't anticipate issues. Ive bought die cuts from various retailers and they all work. I know its pricy, but you wont be sorry!
I love the machine but a couple of days after receiving and using it I noticed a crack in the handle. It turned out to be a separation in the hard plastic part but was tearing the soft plastic center of the handle. I managed to squeeze it together and so far it has stayed. The machine works well, though.
The main purpose for purchasing this machine, was for the 3D Embossing folders that my old sizzix couldn't handle very well. Well, this machine did not work either with the recommended plates for embossing - it worked well with regular embossing folders. I tried every kind of sandwich I could think of, and I figured it out using a 8.5"x 12" rubber embossing mat and worked perfectly! Love the larger platform for cutting and/or embossing multiple things at a time. I'm glad I figured it out and didn't return
The box was delivered torn and damaged, by appearance the product looks okay . The rating of the product is a 5 if it works, but the delivery is a rating of 1 , so I went in between on this rating. 4 out of 6 packages were opened / damaged prior to delivery so far, out of our order. This makes it hard to gift with a damaged box, and not knowing if the product was affected by it.
I purchased this for a Christmas gift. It was received today and it will not work. She has experience with 3 different die cutting machines so it is not due to inexperience. This machine will not cut the center of a die. It appears that the rollers are warped or some problem with the machine prevents the dies from cutting through. in the center. I contacted Walmart for a refund to learn that this had to be returned within 14 days! I had no idea that it wouldn't work nor that I would be unable to return it if it is damaged as it is. I purchased it the latter part of November to give as a Christmas gift. I have just wasted my money and she has no gift!
