I like it, the price is mostly why I pick it out.
This is the best idea since sliced white bread ! Worst part of quilt making for me was trying to pin and baste the layers together... Argh ! Wish I would have known about this good stuff a long time ago! This is the only brand I have tried.. it was great but a tad expensive- However you can do 2 or 3 quilts, depending on size I guess, with just one can.. WalMart's price beat the prices on the internet.. and especially Amazon.. mostly because of their shipping charges.
Holds well and I can get my embroidery done in no time!
I smooth & tape the backing down to the big table then I smooth & tape the batting down then I smooth & tape the quilt top down I peel back halfway the quilt top & batting Spray carefully the backing then I smooth back down the batting spray carefully the batting half and then I smooth down the quilt top [a wooden yardstick helps smooth] repeat for the other half. No fear about perfect, you can peel apart and reposition at any step. Now no worries you can begin quilting the layers together anywhere with no shifting of the sandwich. Be aware of over-spray and also of breathing the fumes. Take precautions like a flu mask & protect nearby machines. I ordered extra so I will not run out this winter. I ran out and no travel allowed so I ordered on line it arrived shortly after the travel was resumed Better price and no travel risks. I only take the time to rate 5* items We have one baby quilt finished this month. Thank you, WalMart*
It worked for me. I let it sit a day or sew before sewing it.
I used this spray to baste a quilt for a friend. it is super sticky and the project is repositionable. I got 3 cans on a super sale online and am very happy.
It does a good job sticking the batting to back and front of a quilt and holds without pinning. It does not gum up your needle and is low odor. It is an excellent price from Walmart for a large capacity sprayer.
I have never used this before (but I will from now on) in the construction of my quilt. Happy with the product does what it should.
This product doesn't leave a cloud of glue in the air when you spray it.
Soon after I started quilting I read about using adhesive spray instead of pins to hold the quilt sandwich together (top, batting and back) for quilting. I'll never go back to pins. This saves LOTS of time, and more important saves my arthritic fingers. The June Tailor spray works very well, is readily available at many stores, and is more reasonably priced than others.
