We ordered this market umbrella to replace an old, yet fairly expensive one on our lanai. Matching our existing colors was important in our decision of available products. When we picked it up at our local WalMart store, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was of similiar quality to our previous umbrella - at a third of the price we had paid for the old one! The shipping and S/H fees were reasonable and rapid in the easy to use on-line process. We'll definitely use this process in purchasing other products from WalMart.
The item is just as expected . . . deep green color looks good on our patio and blends w/ patio chairs . . very easy to assemble and just as easy to raise and lower. Arrived on time and in excellent condition. . . it should last a long time.
Great for the cost just a little difficult to put up if you are short since you have to try and pull the ropes to make the umbrella go up and then stick a metal piece into the holes to hold it.
I ordered the neutral color but received the denim color. It works, so I kept it. I am using it as an umbrella for shade for a vehicle parked outside. Does a nice job shading the vehicle. The construction is sturdy and has worked well - even in the wind.
These umbrellas were complete junk. I hate to give such a bad review but 2 of the 4 were broken when the box was opened. I didn't even open the other 2. Very cheap wood on the ribs. Split wood. Worst quality item I have bought in a longtime. Walmart should not carry this item.
Product was broken when it arrived...the wooden part that holds the umbrella up was broken.also the wooden part that screws in the top of umbrella wasn't even the right size. The screw was smaller than the hole and so it wouldn't screw in.would not recommend this product to anyone.
It was already broken when I unpacked it. The wood pieces that hold the umbrella looked very cheap and flimsy. Wasn't surprised one of them was already broke. I returned it and did not get another one like it. Went with something different instead.
Poll will not slide to let the umbrella go up and down. So it isn't really an umbrella at all. It's really just a poll with fabric on it. I am returning it. It was supposed to be a gift.
Upon opening box, I noticed one of the main support brackets that forms the shape of the umbrella was snapped. Cheaply made. I returned item and found a used one of better quality at half the price on Craigslist.
I ordered this umbrella and after putting it up noticed that the wooden ring in the center that slides the umbrella up and down was cracked in several places, some all the way through. Apparently very cheap wood so took it back. Would not recommend this to anyone as even if it isn't currently cracked, it definitely will soon being out in the weather. Also, this same umbrella is available at Magic Mart for $39, about what this one is worth.
