Friend of mine in the UK recommended Robin Hood. I've watched the entire series several times on Netflix. Then decided to buy it. Definitely different than any other Robin Hood I've seen. From what I understand, the show had a short run because the cast wanted to do other things & unlike an American show where it would have been recast, the producers ended it. Very sad. Wasn't able to find this locally, so I ordered it from my trusty Walmart.
I love the series. I have for many years. For the amount of episodes you get, its fairly cheap, especially since it's not on television anymore. :/
Walmart had the best price for the series. I hadn't seen any of this show on TV but saw some previews on other DVDs, thought I might enjoy it. I LOVED this show, just sorry the series didn't continue after season 3! Very lighthearted for some of the shows, a bit serious on others so not sure about letting young kids watch each show (death scenes in some). But will be enjoying watching these again & again over the years!
Season three was a disappointment, but long live Robin Hood. I felt that the series could have ended better, not sad. It seem that the bad guys won after all, their wish for Robin Hood was granted.
