The metal support is a lot stronger than it appears in the little diagram of the product. I like the fact that it is an easy one step to adjust the height and there is little assembly required...just tighten four already embedded bolts and you are done. Great product.
This is the most inexpensive keyboard stand that I have found. But for the price, you get an item that does what it should. It is obviously not meant to hold a heavy or large keyboard, but a 76 key instrument like the Yamaha makes will be fine. If you need a heavy duty unit because you are using a keyboard with more weight to it, then really you should invest in a more expensive model.
i have another similar keyboard stand that i purchase a few years ago for more than twice the price of this one. the more expensive stand is no more sturdy nor is the quality any better. i would definitely recommend this product
i PURCHASED THE WORLD TOUR SINGLE X-BRACED KEYBOARD STAND FOR MY KEYBOARD. IT WAS NOT HARD TO PUT TOGETHER AND I FOUND IT TO BE VERY STURDY AND I LOVE MY STAND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO IS IN NEED OF ONE.
Great stand for my keyboard I bought at a thrift store.. works wonderful I had tried several places to find a stand since Lowrey did not sell one for this older model anymore..I found information at a piano store where they were using this product on their floor with keyboards on them..They told me where they had bought them..I am very happy.
I am rather well pleased with this keyboard stand and didn't really expect much for the cost I purchased it online for. I was amazed at the QUALITY of this stand. The assembly was easy to do and it has a height adjuster for sitting position or to accommodate you while standing as while playing in a band setting .
This is just what my daughter needed for her keyboard. It was easy to assemble and came with all the tools I necessary. It has adjustable height settings, which I did not see mentioned in the product description when we bought it. It's lightweight and I couldn't find a better price anywhere with FREE site to store shipping, it was the perfect solution for her keyboard stand needs. :)
I purchased this to support the Casio SA 76, it is not a good fit for keyboard this small. My daughter is approx. 4-1/2' tall so when lowering it to her height the keyboard will slip off. This is not fault of product, I just didnt research enough to make certain it would adjust for her size and keyboard type.
This keyboard stand is pretty sturdy, although my keyboard will slide a bit if I am not careful. My keyboard is not heavy so it may be that a heavier one will be fine. This is my first keyboard and my first stand so this problem may be typical as I have nothing to compare it to. I am not a serious player, and just play for fun, so basically the keyboard stand is satisfactory for my needs.
The unit is very sturdy and woks for a small keyboard. However, it has very little room for your legs under the keyboard. The cross bars restrict getting your legs comfortable.
