I have been using Sunscreen and/or sunblock products for approximately 20 years and this is my absolute favorite lotion. I do not usually use any scented products, however this is the only scent I use-delicate and pleasing. Try this lotion, after all, what do you have to lose?
I have loved Ocean Potion for several years. Started using it when the blue tuberculosis first came out. I stated sharing it with several family members who now still purchase it for themselves. Its not summer with out it. I, also use on my fresh tattoos to help keep the skin soft and helps heal quicker. Absolutely LOVE the intoxicating smell.
Product is not greasey. It goes on smooth and is papa free. It is cool and does not make you sweat. Excellent product. would highly recommend it. ' Prduct is great. Not greasey. gives a nice tan and protection. Like the no sweat feature and paba free. would highly recommend it. \
I like this sunscreen mostly because of it's smell - scent of sunshine. I do have sensitive skin and some lotions/soaps/sunscreens give me a rash - this one doesn't. We have a lake house and often spend all day on the boat and it works as well if not better than many sunscreens. Still have to reapply every couple hours - especially if you are in and out of the water a lot.
Ocean Potion sells great sun protection products. I have been purchasing Ocean Potion for 15 years. One of the major reasons I purchase their products is because they don't test on animals and are cruelty free. I will not purchase a product tested on animals for selfish reasons of simply looking good or feeling good about my appearance. In addition Ocean Potion is recommended by the skin cancer foundation which is a plus. All Ocean Potion products have a pleasant smell without the sun screen smell!
Until we started using this sunscreen, my husband always felt sick to his stomach after a day in the sun. The oxybenzone and paraben free formula of Ocean Potion has solved that problem! This sunscreen is great smelling, goes on smoothly and doesn't feel heavy like other sunscreens.
I love the non medicinal smell of this sunscreen, love that it doesn't burn when it gets in my eyes, and like how it goes on. It makes me not hesitate to reapply. And oh yeah, it keeps me from burning.
This product does its job in regards to sun protection and is by far my favorite sunscreen. As a ginger kid, I wear sunscreen daily and this is the only one I've found that does not leave me smelling like a coconut... Reminds me of an old fashioned orange creamsicle!
So I used this same product a few years ago was a blue bottle and all the ingredients seemed the same but I used this for two hours in a pool and I burned , if that would have been all day but it was only for two hours. I was so surprised I have high hopes. It might just been the sun is more potent this year . I also noticed that the place where it is manufacturer changed so I'm sure if that played apart in it as well. but maybe a higher SPF cuz I know I used to I love ocean potion.
When I picked up my order this was not the same container it was in. It was yellow. I questioned it and the associate said it was the same just a new container. It does not smell the same and it does not dry as fast as Ocean Potion Lotion. The new container does not say anything about Anti Aging on it , that could be the difference. So if you have this exact blue tube do not buy this thinking you with get the exact same lotion.
