This gps is perfect for me, and at 99.00 you cant beat that. I travel so this gps takes me right where I need to go, even Google misses my home address, but tomtom brings you right to my front door. My last one burned up in my truck, so this one is a upgrade for me.
This is a great GPS! I tried out a few and did a lot of research and this seems to be the best. Its quick, has good satellite connection, its easy to use and gives very clear directions.
The screen "touch" works well, better than others I have tried. The screen is readable even when wearing polarized sunglasses, which was very important to me. I like it!
We like the Tom Tom brand better then other GPS and it's easier to use,some new added features like it shows where gas stations.etc are easy to setup,update on the same program as the older devices use; "My Drive Connect" add your device, which you need to download this program first to computer, from website before connecting device to update.Gets you where you need to go, and has many route options/features.
almost as good as the one I replaced, but doesn't have Homer Simson's voice.
This GPS reacted quickly and overall it did what it needed to do, but I wasn't happy about the feature in looking for "Point of Interest" places along the route. On my 2016 model, Points of Interest showed up w/address and 'telephone number'. This 1525 model only showed name and address. Also I could not jump back and forth from present route to "Points of Interest" without re-entering info. I prev. owned a 2012 and a 2016 model and was pleased with their function.
this is probably their least expensive model...I liked the way my old 18 year old tom tom worked...left a trail in case you have to back track..this one doesn't seem to do that..slower inputting address pain in the butt...it still does what its made to do
This model did not have my home address, even though I have lived in my neighborhood for 5 years. It was not able to find my doctor's office using Rt. 17 Bypass South and Rt. 707. It kept asking for a crossroad. How would one know this? I think it was overpriced. I HATE that there is no Custmer Service Phone assistance! Ridiculous!!! I am considering sending it back for a better model, and one with customer phone assistance.
a good product, but even after updating the maps. it still went crazy trying to send me a different route. so i opened my Google maps. and i was going the right way.
doesn't work well at all. I live in a town of 8,000 people and it can't even direct me to the walmart after I entered the correct address into it. doesn't feel your touch eithe rI have to hit it hard and several times before it will go to another screen. not happy at all with this tomtom. and the instruction sheet they send doesn't explain all the symbols on the item. had to go on the internet to see what the symbols meant. just doesn't work!!!
