This is my first Uniden CB I have always used Midland. For some reason Midland CB's are not as good as they use to be and they do not honor their warranty anymore. This Uniden is as good as Midland use to be maybe better.
excellent compact radio. fit nicely in my car. good radio for traveling, and hearing of hadzards ahead.
Easy setup, sounds great, easy to operate. It's not the best cb, but it does the job.
Will use on trips will come in handy
I have some of these in my pickups and tractors. They are the best for the price. I would say one of the best on the market. I got the 3 pack cause it was lots cheaper then buying one at a time.
It works, but NOBODY uses CBs anymore - just finished a 3K road trip through south and midwest and there was very little chatter throughout the trip.
I bought one back in my youth and I still have it SOMEWHERE.. For the price point, this is a tuff little radio. It saids 7 watt output, but if I remember right it comes with only a 4 watt output. With a good antenna, this little radio can reach out..
This radio has just what's needed anything else is just usless fluff. It's Small, affordable, easy to operate and delivers solid performance. If your broadcasting your listeners will hear a clear voice no over modulation or tinny tones, if your recieving the advertised 7 watt speaker does a good job and there's an ext speaker jack to add a remorte or powered speaker if needed. Highly recommended for the trail in dusty dirty situations. Matched with a good well tuned anntenna this little rig will hold it's own and even out pereform most mid range untis out there and give someof the top end units a run for their money. Features aside good communitcation can be rated with your eyes closed don't get cuaght up in a ton of features. This little thing delivers a powerful punch for it's tiny size
I like the size, metal cabinet, large speaker, and transmit audio. However, when fairly close to another cb'er, the receive audio becomes very distorted. I may just have a lemon, but it seems the front end of the receiver is easily overloaded.
it does not work. we have replaced coax, antena everything trying to get it to work. lights up but doesn't not let you send out, lights go crazy. and we cant return it cause it has taken ao long to replace everything to see it it was it. But no its radio
