I'm very satisfied with the series 18 minifigures. The minifig lineup is a strong one, and comes with many useful parts -loving the new ballon mould by the way!My favourite minifigure is probably the clown, despite there being another in one of the previous series. It is a colourful figure, and the first time I've ever seen the balloon animal pieces! But seeing as it is dedicated to celebrating the 40th anniversary of the minifig, perhaps it instead could've featured classic figures from older sets, such as johnny thunder from the adventures line, or the classic spaceman. Don't get me wrong- I am satisfied with the figs, but it seems like an opportunity missed to give some classic minifigures a well-deserved remake.
This is the best LEGO minifigure series to me because of the great selection of minifigures to find. Not only are there a bunch of awesome LEGO minifigures with new and rare molds, but this series also includes the most loved LEGO minifigure ever: the 1978 Police Man! Unfortunately, I did not get him, but I did manage to get both the brick figs, the birthday cake guy, the clown, the cowboy, and the firework. Overall, I find this series to be quite great, and I definitely recommend it to a friend. Review by cheesy. 6/19/2018
Possibly the best series of minifigures ever! Everyone is a gem. Yes I wish the cat had been orange or turquoise as everything else except Spider boy is so colourful. But it was a real joy to collect these. A brilliant way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the minifigure and to put a smile on yours and others faces. Very happy days! And then built a cake to display them on.
Love the new set it's nice to see a set of true Lego Minifigures rather than a licenced set of which, we have had a few recently. The Party theme was brilliant and by and large the execution of the figures was brilliant. The exception for me was the two figures dressed as 6x2 bricks. I like the true minifigure inside the suit as was achieved with the Cake man and Flower pot girl. My big disappointment was the Policeman; love the fact that he was a replica of the First True minifigure (I believe) but, by including only one in each box it has made it difficult to achieve the set, without supporting the after market sales which, is currently trading the Policeman at over 5 times the retail price. Every shop I have been in have suffered from the same problem,1 all the boxes have been gone through and the Policeman has been removed. I have gone through hundreds of bags looking for the elusive Policeman even boxes that appear to be unopened, have all but one figure in them. In future, can we please play fair, I can't see what you gain from the limited figure and we the loyal lego fans lose out. :-( Happy 40th Lego Minifigure :-) PS. Can we also restrict the number of figures to 16, as your display cases are designed to hold 16. 17 makes it difficult to display using lego display cases.
I was lucky enough to find the classic lego police figure!! I love him in everyway he is perfect very hard to find I also got the 2 brick minifigures a must have!!! looking forward to the next series!Please pick one these up if your lucky enough to find one worth the money you wont regret it!! My minifigures are enjoying the party also celebrating with other minifures !!
What a series good selection of minifigures birthday cake guy is my favourite so much detail I'm looking for the replica police officer original minifigures but hard to find. Race car guy is racing around. Clown in this series is an amazing celebration of the series 1 clown and cake guy is just having a fantastic time and clown is going to make everyone happy with his balloon animals highly recommend this series lego fans.
Great minifigures! I'm happy to report that I got all 17 of them ( NO duplicates! ) ,including the awesome Police Officer! LEGO, thanks for producing easy-to-identify pieces and also, fun ones at that! Good selection, too! (I have a few recommendations for future “suit guys”, but for that, I will write to LEGO personally.) Anyhow, I am pleased with the detailed parts like Cactus Suit Girl's sweater underneath and Party Boy's downscaled minifig packs. Nice job overall.
What we received are very cute !! I have a eight year old daughter and we build Lego's together for fun. The Flowerpot Girl and Unicorn Guy are her favorites so far. Just wish we could buy the whole set. You are limited to only buying 17 blind packs, which I did but ended up with 4 Cowboy's, 3 Cat Girls, 3 Dragon Guy's , 2 Fireworks Guy's, 2 Brick Suit Guy's, 1 Flower Pot Girl, 1 Unicorn Guy and 1 Brick suit Girl. So only 8 out of 17.... not good at all I wish you better luck in your search !!
The Minifigs are really great and beautifully done. The only week one in my opinion is the unicorn guy. However as many have said, having only one police man per box is a total scam. I am quite happy to forgo getting him. I refuse to deal with after market prices on Lego. I will be quite satisfied with having 16 out 17.
I'm swearing off buying collectible mini figs. Waste of money to ever try for a full set. When you can spend more than enough to buy a modular building and still not have a full set, it's more than a waste for a bunch of duplicate figs. So frustrating I've decided not to deal with it anymore or waste anymore money of figs. Lame
