Good graphics. Voice command works well and simple to use. No need to type addresses, just say it. You can pick it from your favorites or say the full street address. Has got me out of big parking lots but not all parking lots are mapped. Fairly easy to learn to use. Makes a sound when speed limit changes and always shows the current speed limit. I find it very helpful as I have tendency to daydream while driving and forget to pay attention to speed limits. I do miss MP3 player that I have in my old Nuvi, but the GPS's today just don't come with it. Battery does not last long without being connected to power source. It was a bit problem when I first tried to learn all the features. Maps updated without problem.
This is my 4th Garmin navigator, and it's the best so far. It's compatible with the traffic cable on my previous Garmin, (not all Garmin traffic cables are compatible with all Garmins) which is a big deal since I had the cable installed behind the dash and I would have had to pay again to have an installer put in a new traffic cable. In addition, the screen is much brighter, and the voice recognition is much, much better plus there is more memory for more maps. I use this navigator in conjunction with Android Auto, Google Maps, and I have both running most of the time. I can verify traffic from one to the other to make sure I'm on the best routes and avoiding as much traffic as possible here in Southern California.

i have 2015 car that didn't come with a GPS built in, and always disliked using my cellphone, so i thought to buy a permanently located GPS for my car. i thought to try the Garmin 55 traffic due to its reviews and it's offerings. i also bought a CD holder for it so i was able to have it placed securely and without wobbling or fear of it shaking loose. there are many options to choose from to set it up exactly the way you like. they even have a back up cam that you can huh separately of you want. i really enjoy this GPS because i can give it hands-free voice instructions, and the graphic layout that gives even more info as you get closer to turns, off ramps, and destinations makes for easy navigation. the voice instructions from the unit are very clear and make sense. i really like how it turns off an on by itself.
Best GPS ever. Can't say much more than that. I've had TomTom, Garmin, and Navigon and this Garmin is by far the best one ever. Clear and easy to use. Loud enough to hear and has many options. Can't go wrong with this one. I HIGHLY recommend it.
This is a nice little unit which suits my needs well. That is, I needed to replace a very old GPS with a new one with current maps and in-vehicle traffic advisories. The graphics are very good and being used to Garmin products makes it easy to use. So far, no complaints...
Doesn't work as advertised. I was focused on its so-called ability to use voice commands but when I tried to train it with my voice, or my mother's (the intended user), it would work for a bit but would then start to just give random address numbers. The key pad works if you want to type in the address but that's not the idea. There are seem to be several similar Garmins to this one, that have to be trained to your voice, and they send you the same instructions for all of them - despite the fact that the buttons they tell you to use don't exist on the one I ordered. In short, not very good and not recommended. Sad part is I tried to make it work for a couple of weeks and then found out I kept it too long for a refund!
BUYER BEWARE! Price is not everything. I purchased this from a Walmart selling partner, HonestDeals. It came in a blank white box (not factory boxed). I don't know if this unit was new or refurbished...the info on the website did not say anything about it being refurbished. I got such a bad feeling about this product, I called Walmart and returned it immediately.
On my first try it sent me on a route 3 hours too long. and there was no directions to correct the mistake.
