Light weight and compact, easy to stow in one man flip over ice tent. Perfect for shoveling snow around edges of tent to seal from wind. Very reasonably priced for what you get.
The shovel handle is not as sturdy as I thought it would be.
This will not last two minutes in a snow. The shovel part is plastic and so is the handle. Will keep it but it is not stong enough to shovel snow.Might use it in a very light snow.
with this neat little shovel that seems SOOO convenient and portable and cute, comes the line "you get what you pay for". it's cheap because.. well, it's cheap. mine broke the first time i used it by the 3rd stroke- and it's not like i'm throwing body builder force into it :( anyway, not worth it. spend the extra cash for a shovel that won't snap almost immediately post purchase. who needs to drive their shovel with them conveniently anyway? just lean it over your shoulder/neck onto the dash board like i do.
guess it might work in a vehicle as an emergency. 'telescoping' handle extends its' foot long handle to maybe free a tire track. worthless for digging out a driveway. would have thought walmart would have had more choices for us southerners that need it only a couple of times a year since store won't carry them. guessing real snow shovel would be too hard to ship. poor deal but better then nothing so i kept it. disappointing though.
