Purchased to make a cheesecake and it worked beautifully! The pan was easy to use, easy to release the cheesecake from and easy to clean with the separate parts!
One of the nice things about this pan is that it is "Anodized". This process keeps the metal from reacting with acidic foods and provides a hard, smooth surface that is very durable. Aluminum conducts heat well and is a less expensive metal. Springform pans are not just for cheesecake. You can use them for Lasagna, deep dish pizza, chicken pot pie, Ice cream cakes, the list is endless. They recommend you wash this pan before using and after each use by hand in warm, soapy water. Have fun with it!
Wilton performance springform pan is easy to use and cleanup is such a breeze! It has a buckle on the side to unlock for easy cleaning and lock in place to prevent leaks. I just got this today and baked up a pumpkin keto cheesecake. It was delicious! Before use I sprayed it with coconut oil and then filled the batter into the pan. It cleans as nicely as if I just bought it. I washed it by hand, dried it immediately by paper towel to preserve it's beauty. This also doubles as a deep dish pizza pan. I'm also able to make layer cakes with this as well.
I bake anywhere between 5-10 cheesecakes a week in this pan. It's held up well after many bakes.
I was a little skeptical about using a springform pan but was excited to give it a try & now I'm glad I did it was easy to use. I washed it first well seperated it first then washed it before using. It wasn't hard to put back together just have to make sure it's together right or your gonna have a mess. My Son helped me make a cake well we used 2 different cake mixes & it turned out amazing even my son loves it also make sure you spray enough so it doesn't stick I did that in 1 spot I apparently missed but no big deal came out good. Easy to clean also
What can I say? It's a springform pan. I made a cheesecake, topped it with blueberry preserves that I made last summer. I did use parchment to line the sides of the pan, cheesecake ingredients are expensive and the process is time consuming and I didn't want to risk it failing. My go-to cheesecake recipe came out perfect as usual, it released from the pan perfectly. I expected nothing less from the Wilton brand, a name I already know and trust.
This Wilton springform pan worked very well for my cheesecakes. I normally have to line my pans with parchment paper before putting the graham cracker crust in and adding the cheesecake filling. This has always aided me in an easy removal of the cheesecake and also helped with leaking. I made a huge cheesecake in this 9" Wilton pan without any parchment liner. There were absolutely no leaks. As it baked, the cheesecake pulled away from the edge of the pan which made removing it a breeze. I found no uneven baking or hot spots on this pan, either. I've only cleaned it by hand washing and would not recommend putting it in a dishwasher. The latch is great and easy to lock and unlock. Great pan! Anxious to make a deep dish pizza in it!
I have been wanting to get a springform pan for a long time now, and this Wilton Aluminum 9 Inch Springform Pan was exactly what I was looking for. I had a recipe for a banana cheesecake that i really wanted to try and i got this pan just in time to try it out and make it. It was a no bake recipe so I haven't used it in the oven yet, but it worked great this way. I have actually never had a springform pan before so I was pretty excited to use this one from Wiltom and try it out. It worked great! My cheesecake came out just beautifully and tasted great, not that the pan had anything to do with the taste! It was very easy to use and looks nice. I did notice a little bit of rust by the latch after I washed it where the water sat on it in the dish rack. I will male sure and dry it with a towel right after washing it the next time to prevent this from happening again. It is very light weight and I am hoping that doesn't affect its durability or how long it will last me. It is not a pan that I will probably ever use very often, but I know it will come in very handy for other cheesecake recipes that I want to try. I am going to try it out for pizza I think next as I think that will be another good use for it.
We got this Springform round baking pan to help with getting round cakes remover from their pan easier. Well, this pan does it! My wife usually bakes cakes from a box mix and tried this pan to see if she could get the cake out of the pan without the cake leaving chunks on the side of the pan. This one actually works! After the cake is baked and cooled off for a bit, just unfasten the clip on the side of the pan and it comes away from the cake fairly easy. Nothing stuck to the side of this pan! The only issue, and really it's a baker's issue, is that using cake mix from a box doesn't give you enough batter to get a fully rounded cake to the top of the pan. My wife likes it though. Plus it easy to clean!
Very light weight easy to handle. I made a pizza and came out really nice. Trying cheese cake this week for the first time hope it will not disappoint me. I used Wilton brand products before and they never disappointed. It's springform 9” pan. Very thin hence less weight. It's my first aluminum springform pan.
