These lights are not dim at all, very bright and very beautiful. The heads move very smoothly which happens to be a feature we didn't even realize it had, so that was a big bonus! Got both the doe and buck and we are super stoked for Christmas this year! Actually stands at a great height as well. We love the fact it's collapsible and was very easy to do this helps us save a ton of space come time when the holidays end. Super easy to assemble as well.
This dear is so cute and directions were easy to follow to put it together. Takes about 10 min. to put together. Is made from a white steel wire with white mini lights wrapped around it. There are metal clamp hooks that you put over the wire on the feet to secure in the ground. The doe stands 26" tall and is 40" long at longest point. It is very sweet looking how the head moves slowely when plugged in. All in all it is a very nice addition for a yard decoration. At a price of about $25, you cannot beat it. The only thing that would be an inprovement would be to have a longer cord on it, (the cord is only about three feet long where it comes out of the back of the dear) but an extension cord plugs into it fine. Picture was taken inside as I got these way before the holidays. As you can see I also got the buck to stand with the doe. A very cute couple. I would definately recommend this product.
Make your yard come to life with this doe! Great way to bring some cheer to a dreary winter. The assembly directions were good; it just needs to be unfolded and then insert some parts and attach a couple of clips to hold it together. The yard stakes are not very tough; I bent one while sticking it into my hard lawn but it will still hold OK. The doe takes 20 seconds to go through her up and down head movement- pretty slow, but still fun to watch. I have only had this a couple of weeks so I don't know if it will rust. It requires a GFI outlet and is appropriate for seasonal use only- label says to unplug it at bedtime. I also have the buck- they seem to each need their own extension cord because even though the lights have an open outlet, the outlet is not polarized so the buck and doe cannot connect together. Extra parts (bulbs, fuses, clip) are included.
This DOE is adorable, for the price point it can't be beat for a beautiful holiday decoration. I was able to put it together with ease following the instructions, it's extremely light weight for moving but will require the included stakes to keep it down. I was very impressed with this decoration. The only negative is that the instructions stated to remove the plastic wrap carefully to not damage any lights, my DOE didn't come with a plastic wrap. Thankfully all the lights worked still. Again, I highly recommend if you are looking to add some flair to your yard for the holiday season and at very decent price point.
Now that I have recieved the Animated Light up Doe our Christmas holiday decorations are on a whole other level! I also have the matching Buck that you can order aswell. I really like this piece alot, it's cool and the kids love it. The entire piece folds up nice and neatly with the legs, head and neck folding into the body and easily tucks back into the box for storage until next season. The set up is pretty straight forward although It was a bit frustrating at first. But once you do it just once, its simple after that. The head is powered by a small motor that lifts and slowly drops back down to simulate a doe feeding. The head movement is not as long as i would've imagined but its fine and still looks nice. It comes with extra bulbs, and U Shaped stakes for outdoor assembly I would recommend this to a friend for sure. The value at this price point is really good and it should last awhile if taken care of. Hope this helps! Thanks! -Nick
This is a great addition to my Christmas decorations! I have an animated buck already and added this doe to my collection. I can't wait to see what they will look like next to each other. It's fairly easy to set up and is pretty sturdy too. The doe's head goes up and down and looks really pretty lit up at night. Very good quality, I may get one more of these too!
I could not wait to receive this and it came early! I love the Holiday season with Christmas being my favorite time of the year. This indoor/outdoor animated reindeer is adorable and the lights are bright so it really stands out. I had to upload this as a gif, so you can't see the full movement of the reindeer, but it is smooth and the head goes to the top and flows back down to the ground. It's really beautiful. All the lights worked and it comes with stakes to secure it to the ground. It's fairly heavy so I think it will hold up in a light to moderate wind. It will blend in beautifully with my Holiday decor!
This is a very nice animated light-up doe and works great. I would like to see the head move more than it does; however, it moves up and down and has plenty of lights to set it off. It's a little of a challenge to get it up and running; but if you follow the diagram closely, it goes together. The feet come out first, and then you get to work on all the other parts. You have to hunt a little for the tail; but it's there as are all of the animated pieces. Be very careful not to lose the 2 "m" rubber wedges or connectors. Easy to miss them as are very small, and you'll wonder what the heck they are. But they definitely have a purpose. I've always wanted an animated light-up deer, but they have always been rather pricey; and this Christmas yard ornament is very reasonably priced. Definitely a great buy.
I've always wanted some of these, so I was super excited to get one. I can't wait to put it out for the holidays. It's small, but it is the "doe". A little assembly is required. The pieces ( head, ears, tail) are actually in the body piece in the box. It was a little difficult getting them out. They kept getting snagged on the wires and lights. But once out, they are easy to assemble. The lights worked fine. The motor that moves the head up and down worked fine. It does seem a little unstable but it comes with stakes to anchor it to the ground. However, if the wind is strong enough I don't think they would hold it. But that's an easy fix. Just pick it back up. I would recommend this product and I will probably get the others to make a little deer family.
This Christmas decoration lighted and motion doe is a lot of fun. I had window shopped for a long time for one of these just could never bring myself to order one. It was a tad tricky to assemble, but worth the effort. I will enjoy this for man seasons to come.
