I was excited that Nintendo had brought this feature to the Wii U. With the poke walker being one of the most accurate pedometers out there I was excited about the meter. I works really well. I don't do too much looking on the meter but it will show you a bunch of the results. I mostly clip it on and the transfer my data to the wii fit game. I also am exited that buying the meter unlocks the game for free on the wii so you really get the meter and the game for $20.
My wife uses the Fit meter from Nintendo. So easy to use and accurate. Very interactive and fun. The Wii Fit U is wonderful, fun and good exercise program. Rest of us use the Wii Fit and love it and we will all get the Meter. Just wish Nintendo would come out with more pro sports games. Other than that excellent.
This pedometer is a great value if you downloaded the trial version of wii fit u since it unlocks the full game for free. The game itself is going to be $59 so it's a steal not a deal.
Purchased these meters for both my wife and I. Does a lot for $19.99. Keeps tracks of your steps calories and altitude all day. Easy to transfer to Wii Fit U and very fun and interactive with the Wii U.
Pro's: Keep track of daily activities w/this pedometer; measures altitude climbed for hikers, syncs easily with Wii U gamepad; great value Con's: Only complaint...work in construction, not sure if it'll withstand wear and tear of getting dropped and bumped into while working.
I haven't used it much but it was easy to install. It would be nice if you could set up different user profiles rather than getting a unit per profile. If this is a feature, I have not come across it yet. Otherwise I like it.
It's small and all plastic and I hope it is durable. But it is easy to conceal and not bulky to wear. It's easy to count your steps and it downloads onto Wii U fit software. I am pleased so far after 10 days of use. If it changes I will review my review.
First off. I'm going to let everyone know that the replacement battery type is a : 3Volt, CR-2032 type the size of a 5 cent piece. Gently remove and replace the screw on back of device after 11 months of use. Second... It does what it was made to do as per Nintendo advertisement video. I don't wanna say it updates after midnight cause I believe it updates after you have shared your fit meter info with the Wii U game pad and it has updated with the little calorie piggy bank. Its also wrist strap compatible. Use it every where you go just don't lose it. I haven't lost mine and I'm not going to. Best wishes to ALL. For health and fitness... Cheers.
This is a good device, and I like that it syncs with the "game". Helps me get motivated because of that and because it gives me an idea of how active I am. Haven't had it for long, but it is looking good. :) I can't say with all certainty that it is super accurate, but I wasn't looking for super accuracy.
This is a great item to add to the Wii Fit U! It tracks your steps, acting like a pretty good pedometer, even though it does go into sleep mode if you spend to much time in rest or not moving, making you turn it back on as soon as you begin walking or are active again. Overall, it is a great buy for $20. Plus, you get to keep the Wii Fit U trial version when you sync it up! Awesome!
