Very satisfied, delivered timely as expected
Great setup for starters into wheel/pedal setups. Better build and feel than the cheaper sets make it worth it. While not as nice as top tier equipment this is also much cheaper. Highly recommend. TH8A shifter is also a nice add in to this
I got the GT version with better 3 pedals set (clutch) just for some games to launch off the line but I will never buy a shifter personally. It is very quiet and works great. I use it on F1, Dirt, WRC, Project Cars, The Crew, Assetto Corsa, Gran Turismo, and super fun Wreckfest. I got it from WalMart just so I could return it easier than Amazon if needed but I don't need to it works fine. All are list price 399 it seems anyhow. I chose the T300 over Logitech based on online reviews that it has smoother force feedback. I can't compare I haven't had any other wheel since about 20 years ago and things are amazing now. The games are SO real. I also got the VEVOR racing wheel stand $70 which is identical to about 10 other brands on Amazon and it is great, very cheap and lots of options for adjusting angles.
Plug and Play, just remember to buy the stand, it is worth the money.
T300 RS GT Edition offers a quiet Force feedback with a brushless motor
Great responsive wheel with smooth powerful FFB.... when it works. BEWARE, do your research and be advised of the overheating issue due to poor ventilation for the motor/inadequate internal fan. The FFB will drop off drastically after a couple laps as a fail safe to protect the motor once the temp gets too hot. The feeling is very vague and numb making the wheel hardly playable. You will have to return the wheel and hope the replacement is better or figure out a way to DIY a solution. There are many examples of how people of dealt with the issue on forums and social media. If you are not handy or just dont want to be bothered with all the trouble, Id recommend stay away. If you stay the course and resolve this issue, its a great wheel, probably best wheel on the market at the price point. There are other wheels that might not be quite as good but they just simply work without all the headaches. Good luck!
Bought wheel three months ago. After three months the wheel started grinding. I am not sure if it is the motor or gears behind the steering wheel. I could not get a response from Thrustmaster. You can only contact them through email. Thank God I ordered through Walmart. They said they will take it back but they close early due to the pandemic. Hopefully that will go well tomorrow. I like how the wheel felt when it worked. The pedals that came with it were pretty soft. I would suggest saving your money and getting something better. If they were to continue working for you, they would be worth the money. Maybe I just got a bad box. Yada Yada.
I have had 2 Thrustmaster wheels (a T150 and a T300RS) and both have had the servo base failures. Fortunately the second one is still under warranty and they're offering to repair it, but it's going to take about a month after you consider all of the back and forth with Thrustmaster. Great, so I can have another ticking time bomb... Avoid the trouble and headaches and go with a different brand, not this unreliable trash.
