We are definitely a bacon addicted family! I made blts tonight and the bacon was so good! We also made cream cheese stuffed mushrooms wrapped in Hormel original bacon so delicious [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This bacon doesn't satisfy. I have been buying the Hormel lower sodium bacon for several years. I need to be on a lower sodium diet. The slices are so nice and thin they cook fast,and still tender when cooked. Flavor is great. I would highly recommend Hormel Black Label bacon.
This is the only bacon I buy. It always looks up exactly the way I want it, and evenly. I've tried other bacon brands and get crispy edges and rubbery centers, it's twists and turns. Some burned some raw. Not Hormel black label! It always looks evenly and tastes better than anything else out there. Perfect for any application. Sandwiches, crumbled in a salad, as part of breakfast...you can't go wrong with this stuff!
This product is used just because, I will cook bacon all day long if I could. I honestly love this brand of bacon because its just right, it has the decent amount of fat and better amount of meat. I even use the bacon bits on my sandwich when I don't feel like cooking the bacon strips. There is nothing wrong with this product in my eyes. When I get married I want my bouquet to be made with Hormel's bacon so that I can eat it instead of throwing it like the traditional flower throwing 😊.

All grocery stores need only one facing for bacon and that would be for Hormel Black Label. There is no need for any other brand. Black Label leads in quality and taste. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The product is great, rarely will I get a pack that has thin slices but still good. BUT the store needs to do better checking dates I received a package expired FEB 2023 in March! I can't only blame the employees who gather the items because we all once in a while grab an item and forget to check the date because it's expected to be safe to eat but the STORE should be removing expired items!!!!
dislike pack of bacon more fat than bacon
This bacon is hard to cook and doesn't satisfy. I have been getting the Hormel lower sodium bacon for several years. Package used to say 1/3 lower sodium now just lower sodium. The slices are so thin they are hard to get apart and shrivel up to nothing. Still tender when cooked. Flavor is good. It is just the thinness of the slices that upsets me and makes me wonder if there is something better out there. I don't care for Oscar Mayer and I still have to watch the sodium.
Best used by date 4/5/2023 and it was still on the shelf. My fault for not checking, but this was purchased in June! Over one month later…?
