Loved these they are so much healthier and tasted really good!
Because of religious restrictions, I am thrilled to see a true turkey sausage without a pork casing. Now... if you could make a hot Italian turkey sausage, I would be over the moon!!!
The seasoning in this ground turkey is very similar to pork sausage. It provided great flavor for the Italian recipe I was making that helped lower the fat content while providing good flavor.
The turkey Italian seasoned sausage is an excellent alternative to the pork Italian sausage...a much healthier and a very tasty choice.
This is a delicious sausage with a new casing that is neither beef or pork. My friend is allergic to beef and pork and the new casing is a blessing so she can enjoy them
My review is not about the sweet Italian style it is about the ground Italian style turkey sausage ( the roll). I would like for butterball to discontinue the use of BHT and BHA in its turkey sausage. You can use Vitamin E instead. Why use this chemical when you tout how natural you are?
ordered the Lean turkey sausage and received a regular that has more calories %26 fat.

Sorry, but I did not like this sausage It seemed like meat that had been turned into paste before formed into sausage. Terrible texture.
I decided to give it a try after over a year. But no! The casing is like wax paper and the texture of the sausage is like sand. I really wish they would carry the Jennie o brand
