It has a nice temperature to it, and it really wasn't hot like I thought it would be. It's very good for someone who wants a little heat with their meat. I received a free product as compensation for this review. I would buy this if someone wanted it. I wasn't so sure I would like it, but Hormel suprised me with the subtle temperature to it.
This chilli was thick and creamy. I like that there were no beans in it. I am not a fan of beans. It had all of the great chilli flavor I expect from Hormel. However, It was a little to hot for me. I took a few bites and then gave the rest to my husband. Who practly inhaled it and asked for more! I guess I am going shopping!

This is my favorite chili when my mouth is in the mood to take some heat. It's a nice warm zip and not overly hot at all. The meat is both beef and pork. It has some tomato puree too. Add a little shredded cheese for an option. Great for chili hot dogs with a light buzz. It's very finely ground but not runny, it's more like a smooth consistency. You'll probably want to eat this with a spoon and not a fork but either will work.
This chili has the perfect amount of heat to it. I made mexican chili tacos with this product and did not need to add any hot sauce like i normally do. It has the perfect amount of heat to it without burning your mouth [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Hormel HOT chili was my husband's favorite as he loves eating nachos and this chili did not disappoint. It was spicy but not overly 'burn your lips' spicy. Flavorful, good tasting, even though it is from a can and not homemade
I like regular no bean chili(ya I'm a purist-no beans! : ) but, I like this hot version even better. I frequently doctor their chili up a bit(onion powder or garlic, maybe). This variety needs no red pepper help. It's hot but not super hot. Just the way I would hope to fix the plain chili version. Of course if you're crazy you could always add some hot sauce!
Hormel Chili Hot No Beans is full of heat and flavor. The only downside is that some bites are more full of heat than others, being either very potent, or very mild. I attempted to mix it better to see if that would help, but it didn't. Regardless though, the flavor is amazing, the texture is pleasant and meaty, and the quality is five star. Excellent product! My taste buds can handle hot foods and I like them but to a certain extent. While this Hormel Hot Chili No Beans was certainly delicious, it was too hot for my taste buds.
