Use it when I don't have time for a regular meal or when my stomach is a little off or when I am sick. It is easy on the stomach and tastes great. One minute in the microwave and it is ready. I like to add a tablespoon of butter to the gravy and mix it in with the mashed potatoes. I use whole wheat bread with the chicken breast. It is always cooked just right. Easy to come up with a vegetable or fruit salad to complete the meal.
Madison was the first driver to follow directions. She actually asked me to sign for my order as requested. That is how the driver gets my tip. There have been other's that have let me know their presence and have received tips. I tried to cath the driver of the delivery before but they dropped my stuff and ran. I even flashed my carport light and waved the money. I also howered to ask if they wanted their tip
I bought this just to have something to eat, and something that was easy to prepare. So I thought why not try this, it exceeded my expectation. The Hormel Chicken Breast & Gravy w/Mashed Potatoes Microwave bowl actually filled me up. What I like is how well cooked and big the chicken and mashed potatoes were. And oh yeah the gravy, wow it taste incredible. If you want something that you can pop in the microwave and actually taste good and could possibly fill you up (depending on your appetite) I would say, give this a try.
Look. You're buying meat and potatoes from a grocery store shelf, so don't expect gourmet. The chicken has a canned meat smell and taste, but it's a really nice and fork-shreddable piece of chicken. The gravy is rather bland and the mashed potatoes are potatoes. All in all, for what this is, it's not entirely bad. But you will probably burp canned chicken for a minute.
I would recommend other TV dinners before this one. I don't cook, so, I eat lots of TV dinners. This is the first time I tried Hormel. First of all, there's no way to pull open the top, unless you have pliers handy to grab one end and yank. The mashed potatoes were hard and the chicken was too stringy for my taste. I wouldn't buy this again.
These were good. I bought them because the Chicken Noodle Dinners weren't stocked (three weeks later and I'm still not finding them). I just don't feel this dinner will keep me as a Hormel customer. If WalMart does't want to stock the Chicken Noodle then I will find something else.

We have had different kinds of Compleats before and always good. Tried this and the chicken in this "Chicken breast mashed potatoes and gravy" came out of the microwave ORANGE. Tried cooking it another 30 seconds but still the same unappetizing color. It was tender; pulled apart with a spoon. Decided it wasn't worth the risk to taste it. Sad. Tried taking pictures but they didn't show the true color. It was much more orange than the pic shows.
This literally tastes like how pet food smells. So, so foul. Not even seasonings could make it taste better.
WHEN I SPECIFICALLY MAKE A SELECTION OF MY PERFERED CHOICES. IF NOT AVAILABLE THEN I CHECK NO SUBISTUTIONS.
