Rust Blocker Undercoat is a clear high performance durable coating that protects all metal, fiberglass, concrete and wood surfaces from rust and corrosion. Formulated with advanced Nanotechnology, it provides a superior bond to treated and non treated surfaces. Rust Blocker Undercoat’s high temp formula makes it ideal for engine blocks, manifolds, headers, mufflers and tail pipes because it can withstand temperatures up to 400ºF with 3 or more coats. It provides added UV and rust protection to painted surfaces and dries to a high gloss finish. Clear color eliminates the need to mask off areasand it cleans up easily with solvent cleaner. Can be top coated with most paints.Withstands temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Clear color requires no masking, cleans up with solvent cleaner. Provides up to 7 years long term protection. UV resistant and paintable. Ideal for use on car, trucks, RV's, trailers, and boats.InstructionsDirections: Please read entire label before using product.Preparation: Make sure the surface to be treated is clean and dry.Equipment: Rust Blocker Undercoat can be applied with a brush or a spray gun. Brush - Natural bristle brush or 3/4” foam roller. Spray Gun - Airless spray system or HVLP automotive finishing guns, best to use a gravity feed HVLP, 20-50 pounds with a 1.4 to 1.5 tip.Application:SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Brush - Apply an even coat on area to be protected. Recoat after surface is dry to touch after 5-10 minutes. Spray Gun - Spray an even coat on area to be protected. Pass nozzle about 8” to 12” from the surface in straight, short swipes. Recoat after surface is dry to touch after 5-10 minutes.Important: Use at room temperature. DO NOT APPLY at temperature under 70ºF. Multiple coats are recommended in severe environmental conditions.* Not recommended as a finish coat for auto exteriors.DANGER: Harmful or fatal if taken internally. Flammable. Use adequate ventilation. Face shield, goggles or chemical goggles should be worn. Impervious gloves should be worn.
