Ordered this online, shipped quickly. Item is awesome, exactly what i need it for. Got it hanging on my ottoman. Perfect. Only problem is that I cant get free shipping to store because i live in Hawaii.
Ignore what a couple of reviews said about this being too long to fit down the inside of the chair. If that's the case, it's just a matter of doubling it over. And while it's not fancy, it doesn't look bad at all. Simple is good. Making it more fancy would just add to the price for no reason. It's just fine the way it is.
IT WAS TOO LONG FOR THE ARM OF MY RECLINER - BUT - FOLDED ALMOST IN HALF AND IT WORKS FOR ME!!! The remote control holders were the main part I was interested in - yes the magazine holder would be nice if you wanted to use it - but I wanted my remote control holders be within a hands reach - so I just folded my remote caddy almost in half and just tucked it down the side of my chair, Like I said IT WORKS FOR ME - AND I DO LIKE THE QUALITY OF IT - IT"S GREAT!
This armchair caddy was amazing! My husband has the big man chair and it fit perfectly! It was very large compared to others we have seen. The texture of the material used is so sturdy. It was also a terrific price compared to others.
There really isn't much to be said for this organizer. It's a simple piece of vinyl with 4 pockets at the front & one at the back. It's not the most scientific thing I've ever seen, but it does the job. You place it over the arm of your chair or couch & you are ready to go. It is extremely long, which means it should work on several different sizes of furniture. In my case, my couch is small so I tucked the excess material under the cushion I sit on & I don't have to worry about it sliding off the arm because of the weight of the remotes of which I have 3. The top of the holder has a band that can hold magazines, TV Guides, notepad, etc. I use it to hold a notepad, ink pen & my remote guides as well as the information on my Smart TV. The pocket on the back holds my Kindle & keeps it handy for a minutes read if I don't feel like watching TV. The pockets on the front hold a fairly large remote. In my case, the largest is the TW remote, the other two are considerably smaller, but all fit comfortably. OVERALL - a nifty little device for what I paid for it & I no longer have everything spread out on my couch. LOL...
I would have rated this 5 star except that the pockets are sort of shallow. Two of my remotes fit fine but the other two are more than twice the size of the pockets and so looked like they were going to fall out any moment and made the whole thing lean forward away from the sofa. I solved the problem by sewing a piece of wide black elastic and inch or so above the two undersized pockets. Now they stay put just fine. Nice not to have them laying all of the place.
It holds four remotes and a TV-Guide, so it does all it needs to. It is made of a seemingly tough plastic, so a few screw-in upholstery fasteners come in handy for keeping it from sliding where you don't want it (like, on the floor). The accompanying counter-weights are pretty useless if you are really are using those remote pockets, and adding more ballast might interfere with the chairs cushioning, especially if it reclines. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.
Even with the picture available, I'd expected more out of the product. It turned out to be very flimsy, and couldn't hold as much weight as the one in the picture did without someone holding it secure. Not completely useless, but not what was expected either.
The side that is supposed to fit on the inside of the sofa has 2 compartments to put things in but it is so far down the inside of the sofa that the compartments are below the cushion. Therefore, it doesn't do much good to put anything in there.
looked for a long time on line and this is the only one I found that might work. it serves its purpose. don't need four spaces, just one for the tv remote. didn't cost a fortune and should last.
