I drink this electrolyte solution almost everyday. I live in the desert and am currently breastfeeding so I need the extra electrolytes. It tastes like water and doesn't add a bunch of calories or unnecessary dyes into my diet.
I bought this to have on hand on case we or our pets get sick and need it. Yes you can give this to ill pets who may be dehydrated, too. The clear variety is best to give them rather than the other flavors. Ask a vet for guidance. This is one of the things we like to buy just to have on hand just in case someone is under the weather.
Believe it or not I almost lost my 14 year old toy Chihuahua. Nobody gave any hope. I knew from all my dealings with dogs that this could help. We went and bought this and forced drops into her for 4 days. She went from lifeless to moving around. We then gave her only this not water until we saw she was recovered. Now she drinks a mixture of this with water. This happened almost a year ago. She has her bounce back in her steps.
I use this instead of regular sports drinks after my exercise classes. It restores my energy much quicker and more effectively than sports drinks. Slightly acidic and not great tasting, but better than sugary flavored ones. I try to buy US made products as much as I can. This is an excellent Vermont made product in price and quality.
it does taste salty but not too much . entirely drinkable on its own , and probably even better chilled . would definitely purchase an Extra Strength version if they had it !!!
My pet who is a senior dog became ill and thought of every trick I could because of the unfortunate situation with money and another bill that I was not prepared to have but if necessary would have gone. He drank it which definitely helped him no way it would hurt, as well as oatmeal, pumpkin, and more. I did realize there are two unflavored with same amount only one is a dollar less than the other and ended up buying more of the one cheaper. They both were awesome and highly recommend either one unflavored. Thanks
my dog licked a little chocolate chip that melted on my neck. I didnt know, i thought he was licking lotion. When i got up and looked in the mirror i realized he licked the chocolate. Not much, but enough to make him sick to his stomach and got the runny poops. I bought this for him because a vet told me that the baby solution was ok for the dogs to have when the get sick due to something they have ingested. it works great. I add it to his drinking bowl and used a surenge to squirt 10mg in his mouth twice.
I really wish it tasted like something other than salt but that's my fault for not getting a flavored one. It's a thick water as well. It worked like a charm though
these are entirely way too difficult to open especially if you are disabled with limited mobility or if you have arthritis. At least Pedialyte brand has a cutter on bottle cap to assist in opening which may absolutely be worth paying the higher price for. had my Dr open one and even he said it should not be made that difficult to open and its like its sealed with super glue
No Notification Left Outside No Attempt at Contacting me.. Got there and someone was attempting to walk off with package if I didnt make it downstairs when I did...
