Movies are downloaded from Kaleidescape’s movie store, featuring 12,000 movies, series, and concerts—including over 1,000 4K movies (400 of which are not available on 4K Blu-ray disc). Unlike streaming services, Kaleidescape movies are downloaded in full resolution, and not compressed during download or playback. With a video bitrate 4x higher and audio quality 10x higher than streaming services, Kaleidescape movies ensure crystal-clear detail and sound that maximizes your audio equipment. The Strato S comes in either 6TB or 12TB capacity, and up to two Strato S players can be paired to increase capacity or add a viewing zone. For even more storage, a Terra movie server may be added to a Strato S system.
