Unreal!!! Ordered it yesterday and got it today. I've got severe pain in mid back due to lifting weights and sitting desk position daily. I turned it on and laid on it and it felt better than any massage I've had. It is hard
This massage pillow is perfect for getting to that low low back pain and grinding it out. I wish I would have had this for the past 40 years. The massage, vibration and heat all at one time is phenomenal. You can place this where ever you need it. It seems very ruggedly built and looks and feels like a quality product.
Who doesn't love a good massage? But the price of going to a masseuse keeps rising. Not to fret! This product from Homedics is amazing. It has three settings: Shiatsu, Vibration, and the third combines the sensations. Optional heat is an added bonus. Personally, I didn't use the heat. It's early September here in Vegas and the temperatures are still in the high 90s; but if I still lived in Arkansas, the heat would get used a lot! The Shiatsu feels like a big cat kneading on my sore back. I can feel the tightness exit and it even takes away the negative emotions from my work day. The tension dissipates so quickly; and the deep pressure sends pleasure memos to my brain. The vibration of the second setting is relaxing. It's like the shaking loosens all that stiffness and breaks up the fight in my muscles. Those MMA type pains are sent back to their corners! And the third setting is pure magic! I was saying “Oh God” out loud! It was that good! I honestly do not have words to express the feeling. I HIGHLY Recommend this product. Whether you've had a hard day at work or pulled a muscle playing sports, this massager will take the kinks out!
This massager is amazing. Great for easing neck and back pains. The heat setting is a nice addition. Packaging was easy to open. Setup was quick and easy. Cord is prefect length. Great buy!
After receiving this product to review and having used it now for several weeks...I must say it has performed wonderfully! This is definitely a great product to invest in, especially if you are one to visit the message spas on the regular. I felt as though I had my own personal Masseuse at my disposal.The features on this product are: a heat setting which is moderately warm and soothing and 3 different message settings, which are: A shiatsu message, a vibration only message and a vibration and Shiatsu massage combined. All three message settings can be used with or without heat. Also when the heat is activated the massage nodules will glow red to indicate the heat setting has been activated. The great thing about the Homedic Massage Pillow is it's compact size, which makes it easier to use the pillow on those sore achy parts of your body. The run time on this product is about 15 minutes after which it shuts off automatically. This particular product came in Taupe which was OK ,but I would have definitely preferred a darker color. The mesh section of the pillow which covers the massage nodules is made of 100% Polyester ; the outer fabrics include both Polyester and Lucre. This pillow is not only soft and plush, but can be easily cleaned with a soft slightly damp cloth. Please keep in mind that this is a DEEP TISSUE message pillow which means the massage can be a little intense, but not uncomfortable; It just depends on the individuals preference. Overall, this is a great product that's super easy on the pockets.

I've been looking to buy an electronic massaging pillow for my neck a while now and this one caught my eye due to the little massaging hands that it comes with. I did not want just a vibrating massager; I was looking for something that could really get the stiffness out of my neck. This little pillow is well designed and the massaging "hands" moves in the same pattern of movement that you would get from a masseuse, which is really neat. You can use it sitting up in a chair, or just lay your neck on the pillow for a better, deeper massage. Alternatively, it does have the vibrating function still, so you could use that too, or use both at the same time for added effect. It also has heat built into it, but I didn't feel that it got very hot or barely even warm to really relax my muscles. I think that the pillow is rather small though, when I tried using it on my back, I had to move it from side to side, because it didn't cover my back side-to-side and I don't have a very large frame. I let other people in the house try it too and they too said how it gives a nice deep massage, but it's too small. Even narrower smaller people commented on how narrow it is. Despite that though, my husband came home with a headache one day and I gave him the pillow to use on his neck, after about 10-15 minutes he said it got rid of his headache completely, where normally he would have to take medicine to get rid of a headache. So I would say this is probably the best application of this massager, mainly for the neck, but can be used on the back if you're willing to move it around a lot to cover the whole back. I also let an athlete friend who was visiting try this on her muscles after an intense workout and she said it worked great on her muscles, but she had to move around a lot to get it to cover her sore legs. Another point that you might want to consider is the fact that it has to be plugged in to be used, which I didn't know until I opened the box, so you have to sit by an outlet and keep it plugged it the whole time, it doesn't recharge at all. By the way, it did have some kind of an odd scent when I first got it out of the box, which was kind of annoying when I used on my neck, close to my face, but after about a week or so the smell faded and is barely even there anymore. The fabric and color of this product couldn't have been better, it's very stretchy all around the area of the massaging "hands", so I'm not afraid of it tearing when the little hands push on it, since it's a mesh fabric, but then the fabric outside that area is a nice velvety material and the colors are nice and neutral, I didn't want an ugly pillow, but this one just looks perfect.
I love to feel relaxed at the end of the day. This massager caught my eye because at least twice a week I have a crook in my neck or sometime during the month pain in my lower back. My husbands hands are getting worn out, but the only thing that helps most times is a massage. To me this massager is great, I used it for my neck, my shoulders, my upper and lower back. All you have to do is place it up in a lounging chair, couch or even on your bed against the pillows. Then you just plug it in,turn it on and sit back and enjoy the kneading motion. It feels awesome, I no longer have to wait for my husband to massage my back I can just use the HoMedics 3D Massage Pillow. It also has heat which feels mighty good on my sore muscles. If you fall asleep because it is so relaxing that's fine too because it has a 15 minute auto shutoff. The only draw back is the scent of the massager is not the best but it comes with a note that says the scent will diminish after 24hours. If you love a deep massage or know someone that does this is the massage pillow to get.
I had high hopes for the Shiatsu massage pillow. I carry a lot of tension and stiffness in my upper back and neck. Unfortunately, there isn't much movement in the shiatsu balls and the position of the balls doesn't fit my neck. The heat is mild and not very helpful either.
This is not even as good as the one that I had 20 years ago. That 1 the balls could move in and out. You can adjust how far apart they were when it rubbed you this one cannot.
