[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The router was easy to hook up and use. The signal strength is decent. It seems to manage all devices I have connected at my house. I think it's cool that you can get more access hubs to place around your house. I think I'm going to do that for outside. I haven't noticed any connection issues which is also a plus. I think the unit itself looks really cool and my son wants to keep it in his room.

Our house has so many walls and curves that we could never get internet in the back of the house with this WiFi extender we finally are able to receive internet. It so easy to setup and use. This unit has a speaker to use for google assistant and you can play music a very good buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had an old Netgear router with tons of WiFi smart switches connected to it. Some would either randomly lose connection but eventually recover or stays disconnected. For the ones that stay disconnected, I would have to power cycle those devices for them to reconnect. This would happen randomly every couple week. I decide to give this Google Nest router a try. So far, I haves 0 disconnected device within the pass month. Setup was seamless using the Google Home app. Found out you can also use Google's other app called “Google WiFi” which gives you more information about your network. You can use it to setup the nest router, view network setting, view all connected devices, or make network setting changes. The app itself can run a speed test but it seems inaccurate. Google app shows +200Mbps download speed vs SPEEDTEST app showing ~50Mbps download speed. Currently speed differences are not as important as has long that the network maintain a stable connection, which it has!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nest wifi router has helped us with the internet connection issues we've been having in the rooms that's towards the end of the house. Now we have connection in all the rooms. The set up was very easy too. It comes with a power adapter and an Ethernet cable. The google home app would need to be downloaded for the setup but it is a fairly simple process.
I liked the pricing since it was the lowest for a new unit. But I do have my doubts about it being new. It came in an off color box than the white box I see them in all the time.it also came in a padded envelope as opposed to another stronger outer box, I did t care for that at all. So far so good, it connected to my other two units.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly amazed by how much faster my WiFi became after installing the Google Nest WiFi router! This router is ideal for multiple devices that stream and download all at the same time. This modern style router looks great and blends in perfectly and is very easy to set up using the downloadable Google Home app. The router comes with one 6 ft Ethernet cable to connect to a modem or gateway, power adapter and quick start guide. I have multiple devices using the WiFi that would cause buffering issues, but the Nest router can accommodate up to 100 devices and seamlessly integrates and prioritizes the WiFi to optimize usages. I love that thus router even covers my entire house, (up to 2200 ft.) resulting in no more low WiFi signal bars or tv and gaming stream buffering.
Definitely better than your standard router. Good upgrade especially with the increase in working from home.
Bought this to extend my mesh network coverage due to a poor signal in my home office. It's fairly easy to install and add to your existing setup. My connection speed is now back to normal in areas where I was having issues.
Technically the product was broken and wouldn't turn or charge. However, I've been trying to find an extra nest point and these products keep being non-USA products that are coming with european power plugs with US compatible adapters. If the product worked at all, it would have turned on and been programmed for a different language (initially). Different countries have different WiFi regulations, and a product designed for another country will not have the appropriate firmware to work in the states. Do not purchase these nest points unless you are getting it directly from google. I've bought 3 of these recently and they are always a non-USA product that won't work for one reason or another.
The product is not as described. It did not come in it's original packaging and both items were dirty as if they were used by the seller.
