These are as good as name brand tampons. The super absorbency size is actually super. Some tampons state super but are more like regular. These are convenient because the will fit in your pocket. The plastic applicator is thinner but works as it's supposed to.
I'm a landscaper, so I need something that will last a while, since I can't get to a bathroom whenever I want. I was a little nervous to try a new type of store-brand tampons, but I've been using Kotex U, and they're taking too much of my money. I've tried Equate tampons before, and they've always been great for me, but they just came out with this version, so it was a little scary. I brought a bunch of back-ups (Kotex) on the first day I tried these Equate ones. I didn't even consider using the Kotex, though! The Equate ones actually seem to work better than the Kotex U. They absorb more, and I don't get that fake-leaking feeling that Kotex U gives me. The Equate ones are even kind of cute - the string color matches the applicator :)

these are very comparable to the CORA brand that's been popular lately for much less! I was pleasantly surprised at how cute and colorful they are a good size! pretty comfortable to use and compact, i think i will repurchase these as soon as its back in stock i'm glad i ordered 2 thru walmart but i need more as back ups, please restock asap and don't discontinue them! i will repurchase
This is a great value compared to other products. I like the plastic applicator over cardboard. They glide in easy and you do not have any discomfort. What I would recommend is that if you are having a heaving flow change every 2 hours or you will have an accident.
You get what you pay for. The product is cheaper than other name brands it looks like other brands but completely different. The tampon doesn't hold together, every time you extend it to use it the plastic prices break apart. It isn't leak proof at all and is very difficult to remove.
Do not buy this trash! the compact applicator is so short it makes it difficult to come out when trying to insert. You will end up using your finger....gross! Dont waste your money!!
I give this one star, solely because of the applicator. It is too short to be of any real use. The tampon itself works great and there's less worry of leaks, but the applicator is too short to completely place the tampon correctly. I've used other "compact" applicators and never had this issue. If you need super absorbency, use either the regular applicator or a different brand. The fact that I even bother with a tampon review, speaks to my frustration and disgust.
I typically like Equate products and have used other tampons by them but these tampons shred and leave fibers inside me and they absorb so little that I was always running to the bathroom to change it. I really wanted to like these and hate having to complain but ladies need to be warned to stay away from these.
