Well worth the money. The large size is perfect for my needs.
Large size allows me to wrap the pad along the side and top of my leg; no need to move the pad around to treat various areas of my leg. Used the auto-off feature only once (when I fell asleep).
This heating pad works great. The size covers my whole back. The optional settings are a real plus , also the auto shut off. So far it has worked very well. My old sunbeam still works but it is way smaller and the vinyl is very stiff and only flattens out when it is warm. This one stays flat and more pliable. Would definitely reccommend...

love this heating pad.ex-large size is a great idea and a plus.dry and moist heating when needed.i would highly recommend it.
I bought this particular heating pad because it stays on for 2 hours and my old one broke (after 4 or 5 years)
I've purchased this product before elsewhere and have found it to be well built, functionally strong, and in general a great heating pad. With this purchase I found that when first out of the package and heated for the first time it produced a very strong and unpleasant odor, sort of a cross between a bad plastic and gasoline. After I ran it through it's heating and cooling cycle about 15-20 times (out in the garage because of the odor) the odor problem seems to have pretty much been resolved. Other than this unfortunate initial odor problem this seems to be a good heating pad.
I bought this in 2009 and have used it occasionally, very pleased with its performance until 01/2019 when the cord connected to the controller frayed and sparked and smoked while trying to shut off after use.
I was gifted this heating pad only 4 months ago due to back surgery and my other back problems. I need to use this around the clock for my back. This was only 4 months old and while I have tried numerous heating pads this one was working well until today. I have used many so i know how to use them proper. The pictures show the burning through the pad itself, the blue foam removable lining and the outside of the heating pad. I even ended up getting burned!! I didn't even have it on the max heat and it did this. Cant imagine if I did!! I will be in contact with Sunbeam!!!
