I initially purchased this ointment as a moisturizer, but found it is equally effective to treat acne, scars, and cuts well. After using the Desert Essences facewash, I apply a dime-size amount of this ointment to my face before applying foundation, and it has helped minimize/treat acne, scarring, and any cuts. I recommend applying nothing more than a dime-sized amount, though, to avoid excess shine.
If you have demodex mites. This is the very best treatment for it!! I love everything about Desert Essence!

I have been a diabetic for 41 years and I always have to worry about cuts on my body. I use to have such a problem healing. A few years ago I found this Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment and now I have no worries about my skin. I put it on everything from my head to my toes. My toe was bleeding a few days ago while at a theme park. I was away from home on a trip, as always I brought my ointment with me and within 2 days I couldn't find the cut. Thank you for such a wonderful product and please never stop making it.
It is a necessary product for visible skin injury. Branch scratches, animal scratches , etc. Heal quickly and completely often overnight. Clean, apply generous tea tree oil and a bandaid overnight and it may take more than one night of treatment, yet, I have no scares from treated scares, yet, do from lesser injuries! A solid product to keep handy.
I'm an esthetician and I've been using this on my clients for about 2 weeks now, and it provides instant soothing and a tingly sensation to subside the discomfort from facial waxing! Highly recommend!
Loving this ointment! My first order arrived about 6 weeks ago, and I knew I needed to order more after using for a couple of weeks. I was looking for something to help with my rosacea and the constant breakouts that come with it. This has certainly done the trick! I think I've gotten 2 or 3 pimples in all the time of use, where I was getting multiple each week before. As it is winter, I've been using once after I shower each night and then as needed in the morning with the dry conditions. Note this can be very oily if used in large amounts, but that makes it great too... doesn't need to be lathered on thick. One container will easily last me two months, maybe longer. If you're thinking of trying, go for it!
I love this product, but was disappointed when I received my last order. It was not sealed and it was dirty inside. I will continue to use this product, but will return this purchase per the nice folks at Desert Essence, they said to return it to Walmart for a refund.
This cream is amazing. Clears and soothes my rough dry blemishes from eczema and even cold sores practically overnight! Smells pretty bad at first but the aroma neutralizes after about 30mins or so.
My daughter in law got ant bites all over her feet and they were driving her crazy. She applied the ointment and not only did they stop itching they went away completely
